My family thought I was crazy when the thing I was most upset about when I found out I would be facing chemo for breast cancer was losing my hair. You see, I have very long straight blond hair and it has been my trademark of sorts. I had heard that you can make a wig with your own hair and found Newport Hair Loss Center on the Internet. Nazy spent a lot of time with me explaining the process and the options. I could not be happier. I chose to make a wig with my hair. Now that I have lost my hair, I am able to put on my wig and even my coworkers are not able to tell that its a wig. Nazy really knows her trade and is really good at what she does. I was pleased with the whole experience from the consultation and the design process of the wig as well as the fitting. I also appreciate that Nazy is a breast cancer survivor. We had a lot to talk about!

In August, my daughter got a custom wig done by Nazi. Unfortunately, my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia last year and lost all her hair. Her doctor gave us the ok for her to return to school. She was worried about how she looked. Our patient relations person at the hospital referred us to Nazi. My daughter was so excited to hear that someone could help her. Nazi was so kind and wanted to make sure my daughter would be happy. She made us feel so comfortable and made this experience very easy. She did a wonderful job and most important put a big smile on my daughter's face. Thank you Nazi for everything, you are truly an angel sent to us.

Newport Hair Loss Center. My story is a little long, but positive:)...I called Nazy after seeing her website about 3 months ago about a young girl that I have helped in raising since infancy that has trich. She had been wearing a hat for 2 years to hide the hair loss and I was quite emotional on the phone as I explained that she thought she was ready to try to wear a wig...I had bought a wig for her from another salon and it looked worn after a month...I explained that this young girl was now living with me and that her family could not even make ends meet and could not afford a wig...she said to bring her in anyway. My young friend and I met Nazy the following week and she was so loving and compassionate with us. She knew exactly how my "adopted "daughter truly felt living with her problem. She treated my young friend with respect and dignity...Needless to say, Nazy helped us by providing a lovely wig through her organization that helps ones truly in need. Words cannot express how thankful we both are to her...we know she didn't have to do this for us...she is very busy running a successful business and yet she cared...I'm sorry NBmom had a unpleasant experience there... from our experience with her, it is not about the money with Nazy, she really does care

Disappointing experience. Could not believe how I was treated. Had an appt. for a consultation for a wig, but I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes while Nazy flitted around chatting with customers and staff. When she finally decided to give me the time of day, she asked why I was there. I was feeling sick from chemo and apparently didn't meet her standards of appearance or how much money she "thought" I had. When we got around to discussing prices, Nazy was very rude and condescending. She actually used the words "if you can't afford it..." Had she been more kind and patient and given me more than thirty seconds to consider a purchase of several thousand dollars, I would have spent my money there. However, I couldn't rationalize spending a cent with her, so spent much more elsewhere. In the six months since my diagnosis of cancer, I have been to many doctors offices, medical facilities, etc., This is the only place where people were rude to me -- I would have expected some kindness and compassion.

I donated my hair and made a wig for a child with cancer!. I had been wanting to donate my long hair for cancer for a long time, but wanted to be able to see who it would go to. When I checked around, I was referred to Newport Hair Loss Center. They made a wig with my hair that went to a little girl in the hospital in Los Angeles. I was even able to be there whent hey presented it to her. You should have seen her face. She was so excited and she looked so beautiful. Nazy at Newport Hair Loss Center was awesome and made it happen. If you want to do something meaningful to help someone, this is a really rewarding thing to do. And the look on the little girls face made it all worth it! Priceless!

Beautiful custom designed wigs. I can't recommend Newport Hair Loss Center enough. I have been suffereing from alopecia for a number of years now and really never thought I would look or feel beautiful again. Then I had a custom wig made by Nazy Curtis at Newport Hair Loss Center. I look better than I did before I lost all of my hair! With Nazy's help, I was even able to get my medical insurance to reimburse for my wig because it is considered a medical prosthesis. I am so happy and would HIGHLY recommend if you are considering a wig, make sure you go to Newport Hair Loss Center.

If you're looking for top quality, look no further!. I have had 2 wigs made here and have also had extensions. I have always been very happy with the outcome. My hair looks, feels, and moves naturally. I always get lots of compliments. Eevn when I am not feeling well from my treatments, when I put on my wig, my spirits are lifted and I feel beautiful! You cant put a price tag on that! Newport Hair Loss Center comes highly recommended by me!

You made an ugly duckling feel beautiful again. I came to Nazy after being referred by a friend who also has alopecia. I really didnt buy the idea of a wig at all, but my friend really insisted that I go at least check it out. I had no idea what went into the wigs that Nazy makes- its really an amazing artform. The wig looks so natual and moves natually which was vital to me. I work out and shower at the gym and I can even wear my wig in the shower. I look bette than I have in years. My hai is actually prettier than it was before it started falling out. I am thrilled. I really feel like an ugly duckling that has been turned into a beautiful swan. Thanks Nazy.

Great service, great experience. After the second time I had to endure chemo treatments for breast cancer, I decided that I would be prepared to lose my hair by having a wig made for me before I lost my hair. My oncologist referred me to Nazy Curtis at Newport Hair Loss Center. I was impressed by the whole process of measurements, discussing my options for wig design and finally- cutting, styling, and fitting my new wig. It is absolutely beautiful. You cannot tell that it is a wig- the lace front cap fits so well and is comfortable to wear at work all day as I have planned to keep working through my treatments this time and now it is discreet so that I am able to do that. I really appreciate all the indiviual attention Nazy gave me and the compassion she showed to me. I would definately recommend Newport Hair Loss Center and Nazy's services to anyone going through cancer.

The author is my competitor constance walsh with wiggin out salons. She slanders me, since I testified as an expertwitness for an unhappy client of hers.

Proof: It is not a coincidence that the bottom text of the made up review is the same as of 04.16.2010 of the made up review from hollylove, it is a scam!

When is this going to stop? Mind your own Business Constance Walsh, Wiggin out, leave me alone!

She does exactly, what she describes in a review for me, she tries to slander me, even stated once, I would not have breast cancer, She is the only one with a motive to write this, my hundreds of clients know better!

My staff says: Nazy Curtis is a compassionate and hard working person with the best interest for her clients and fellow competitors in mind.

Anybody, reading the other review recognizes, that this is a made up review by one competitor, who can’t let go and cowardly hides behind the internet and thinks this way she can sabotage Nazys reputation.
