Good Company. I had a break in. I called other companies but they could not meet me right away or were to expensive. I am glad i found these guys. Way better than all the other companies I interviewed.

Response From American Alarms. Here is the real story. Our old customer in this suite went bankrupt and left. Power and phones at the suite were shut off in early December. Our central station notified site of power and battery failure. Additionally, we informed sub that system is down and will not work. Security system down at that time. New tenant Rooz calls and wants the service with our company but still does not have power or phones at the site. We wait for them to get power and phones. Then a break-in occurs with a down system and American Alarm Systems gets blamed? Currently, a month later, still no power or phones. Even after this review, Rooz still wants our services. Still waiting on power and phones!

Stay away from this company. This is not a real alarm company. Their products do not work. The business next to mine went bankrupt, I took over the alarm system to keep it active. Due to the amount of work it took the intruders to go into the next door location and based upon the entry point, the burglars spent at least twenty minutes in the adjacent building. The alarm from this company never tripped. I called to verify and was told that they had no record of the alarm going off. Stay away from this company if you actually want protection. I should have realized this when they sent me the contract, it was not prepared in a professional manner and the representative who I dealt with was lackadaisical and carefree. I explained to him the history and clarified the importance of their alarm being active and functional. The last time we where burglarized the same thing happened, their alarm did not trip at that time either. For your own protection and peace of mind, find a real alarm company. We have been using one of the larger alarm companies and they are not perfect but at least their product works and they call quickly when the alarm is triggered.

Thanks!. My home was broken into. I called ADT and others and they all seemed the same. Then I called American Alarms out of Santa Ana. I liked the fact that they have been in business since 1958 and did not hard sell me. I would recommend them to others.

Great Peace of Mind. I have had security systems with American Alarm for over 20 years in my business and home. Twice my company has had attempted break-ins and both times the alarm systems worked perfectly and prevented a loss. The police were able to arrest one of the burglars due to the video system. I travel for business and my wife saw a prowler in the back yard and activated the system. It scared the prowler away and the central station dispatched the police.

I feel my family is safe, thanks to American Alarm.
