Swagged Out – I just read the reviews on the Ember Club and most were negative!! I had a good time!! Service was good. I have been to bad clubs and this is not one of them!! Security was tight and did their job!! Me and all my people felt safe!!! I had No pressure to keep buying drinks like at most clubs and the club was PACT, that speaks for itself!!! SWAAAG!!!!
Nothing Special. – I live in the area that the club is located and went there with a couple friends. First of all, the staff was rude; we were yelled at for taking too long to get our IDs out. They spun 90's hip hop, which was ok but the DJ did not know how to mix with ruined the music experience. On top of it, the music was extremely loud; almost deafening, even though I am a typical clubber. Food and drinks were typical, nothing special. The place was small and a bit dirty even though there were not many people around. It seemed that a couple of my friends had trouble with parking and ended up parking in the streets where they got parking tickets afterwards.
If you're looking for a club in Anaheim, this is NOT the one you're looking for. You'd rather be better off going to a ghetto bowling alley.
Bad place to go! – DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB.
IT Sucks; service was horrible. Manager and Bouncer was very rude and overpriced fees for drinks, it was the worst money i've ever spent on a club. Forced to park in the streets where my car was scratched after I came back. What a waste of time and effort.
After signing up for a mailing list, I recieved text spam from them once a day. It was very annoying.
Recommended for anyone, please do not waste your time on this horrible venue.
Avoid this place! – I want to give it no stars but apparently you need to pick at least one, and well I could comment on the abusive and very selective behavior of the security detail, or the drone music that seems to numb your senses and then crush them completely because of the poor sound quality or even the fact that it's almost a given that some hooded teenager is gonna start a brawl in the dancefloor (hello 18 & over) but the one thing that definitely puts the rotten cherry on top is the fact that their flyers contain false promotion, exhibit A my experience, the kid promoters from 3am thursdays set up their halloween night with a $500 prize for best costume, some of our friends took the time to dress up properly and to our surprise there wasn't even a contest, one of the promoters (Ricky) told us the prize was announced at 11, which was a lie because we were there even earlier than that (and seriously even considering it, who gives away the night's big prize when the night is barely starting) I even asked people working there, security and bartenders, who were naturally confused about my question since they never heard about anyone announcing any contest.. It is really pathetic for club management to let bullies and teenage thugs run their show.. Word of advice, avoid this place, I might just saved you from one of your worst experiences..
Worst Club Ever – I have been to clubs all across the United States and several other countries. I was so excited to see there was a club opening just a mile from my home in Anaheim. However, what I experienced was perhaps the worst club ever ran. I say ran because the club is built and decorated nicely and has nice looking latina women. Unfortunaetly, that's all this place has going on.
To start this club has the worst parking situation and security. The security guards all look like a bunch of hoodlums, seriously ghetto'd out dudes. All have bad attitudes. Anyways, these hoods surround the club and streets that surround it and force you to park in the valet. Even on public streets 3 away from the club. I even saw a man getting harrassed across Anaheim Blvd who was just parking at his house and the security guard was telling him he couldn't park there.
You have to tuck your shirt in, even though everyone un tucks the shirt once inside. The cover is $20 which is ridiculous for a place like this. Sutra can get away with that not Ember.
The drinks are extremly overpriced. There is absoluetly nowhere to sit down even for a second unless you get bottle service. Which I also noticed more than half the tables were empty. Why a place like this has bottle service I don't understand.
The DJ's are awful and I mean really bad. Possibly the worst I ever heard at any club. Playing the cheesiest and most outdated music.
The people are virtually all Latino and if your a white guy like myself you can get really intimidated (like 90% latino).
The only good thing I can say is there are a lot of hot latina women but half don't speak English. If I were you I would stay as far away from this club as possible. It is really that bad and I went a second time just to make sure.
My prediction is this place will be out of business soon, in fact I drove by last Saturday around 11pm and the place was almost empty.
Ember......not bad – ok ok i've been here twice and it's not that bad as you ppl say. If you're going to a club, you might go and expect to spend money.....otherwise, just turn on your radio and dance in your room. :) bout the valet parking, i think it's convenience......you don't have to go looking for your car!!! Another thing, if you are complaining bout no place to sit.......if you're going to a club to dance, you don't need a place to sit.
VERY BAD PLACE – This place is small parking is horrible and everyone that works here are rude dont ever go to this place you will regret it!!!
People are trying way too hard to be cool – On top of the forced valet service that has you walk 2 blocks just to get to the club,
the dance floor is incredibly crowded and to sit down anywhere besides the toilet you have to get bottle service, So ladies wear very comfortable shoes!
The overcrowding makes it super hot and sticky especially upstairs.
The music is mainly hip hop top 40s with some salsa upstairs.....not much variation.
To top it off.....and although i hate to say this....the people going there are trying way too hard to be cool. At one point i felt as if I was in a sea of short 21 year olds who felt cool for finally being able to buy a drink
Overall, people just didn't fit the building
Worst Anaheim Night Club – This location has countless of Bad reviews on the latimes, club planet, yelp, and citysearch. I wish I would have read them before going.
Not listed on the Yellow Pages. Mapquest and my navigating system could not find the place. A recorded message claims them to be "? at the corner of Anaheim Blvd. and Lincoln Ave." They are actually between Lincoln and Sycamore St. on Sycamore St.?s block.
Bouncers on every side and corner of the clubs perimeter.YOU HAVE TO PARK VALET otherwise you will NOT get in. I felt like I was surrounded by the Men In Black... lol.
Reservations are NOT GUARANTEED even with a confirmation call. Preference is given to those who PAID for bottle service. If you don't buy, forget it... unless you flash your money you are not getting attended.
Moreover, bottle service requires you to purchase 1 bottle per group of 6. My boyfriends? friend had to pay a total of $150 which included entrance. So, if your party is not a multiple of 6 you?re screwed... the rest of your party still has to pay admissions.
In addition, the place is overly crowed both inside and outside. There is No place to sit down inside. Outside, people where bunched up like a herd of cattle right next to the overly packed parking lot.
They played a lot of hip hop tunes the night I went; not much of a variety. The music is 7out of 10. Then again what does it matter if you can't even dance because it's overly crowded?
To wrap it up I give this place an "F" and NO STARS. It's by far one of the worst places I've ever been to including Vertigos in LA and La Boom in Huntington Park.
Unfriendly/ Over Priced/ Bad Customer Service.
Club Ember Not going back – Starts with a valet hustle of how you have to valet to get in, the parking lot across the street is a business complex as well as the Auto zone next door. They say the Anaheim police require them to park your car. Liar!
Scam/ Hustle. I have been there before but always valet my car but this time had stuff I did not want stolen or have to pack up in the trunk. I parked next door after hours and was hassled by Tom the valet Manager what a Loser! I also noticed that if you knew Tom that the rules did not apply to everyone. Because some of us had to pay to park some were ok'd by Tom. Not to mention these fools want you to just about park your won car 60 feet from the entrance!
The place has no where to sit and enjoy your drink unless you rent a sofa for the evening called bottle service never mind the 9 bucks for a drink chugg it and dance or stand.
I have been there 3 times and the last two I was uncertain if it was me or just a bad night. But after this 3rd time I am not going back nor would I recommend it to anyone even if it was the last place open. The service is horrible the staff hate their job including the bathroom attendant who act like the stomach contents/bile in the stalls do not exist 'but please tip" Here is a tip go somewhere else and spend your money and not Ultra either they are in Costa Mesa and must take notes from one another.
