Veggilicious!. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first walked into this fast-casual restaurant. I was first drawn in by two things, the name "Veggie Grill" and the enticing exterior design. I was greeted by a large menu-wall and read some of the selections (all of which sounded delicious). The place was bustling and had a cool, clean atmosphere. I ordered the much-talked about Texas Hold'em and the sweet-potato fries. I was *thoroughly* impressed with these two savory selections, which also were healthy AND vegan. I finished my healthy feast with their carrot cake, once again pleasing my tastebuds greatly. The staff was bright and friendly, happy to suggest a favorite menu-item to a newcomer. Overall, I am very happy with this new restaurant and can't wait for more to open around closer to the San Diego area. Any person looking for a healthy, delicious meal should avoid the red and gold of McDonalds and pay a visit to the Orange and Green of the Veggie Grill. 5Stars!

The best around!!. Being from California, I immediately assumed that The Veggie Grill labeled itself as a tasteless, tofu friendly, health conscious eatery. That assumption promptly changed after my first step inside. The Veggie Grill offers a unique environment grasping the idea of a fun, fast casual restaurant. The music, design, and customer-friendly staff gives the Veggie Grill priority over any other restaurant in town when we are debating where to go. I haven?t even gotten too the food yet. I can?t even express my feelings in words for the Santa Fe Crispy Chicken. Just thinking of the name makes my mouth water. The brilliant mixture of avocado, lettuce, and its pure 100% veggie protein patty exemplifies the uniqueness of The Veggie Grill. The menu is diverse in the fun names it offers each item. Don?t be a chicken, or Chill out Wings is just a taste of what makes The Veggie Grill such a fun environment. As I said, The Veggie Grill understands the idea of a fun fast casual restaurant that offers the best food in town!! CHECK IT OUT!!

addictive. I am a huge fan of this fun, upbeat restaurant. i live in the San Diego area and make the

trip up at least once a week to get my fill of this delicious and satisfying food. I happened upon it when I was taking my son for a college vist to UCI. We asked our college guide her

favorite place to eat and she wholeheartedly endorsed the Veggie Grill. She even went as far as to suggest what we eat ( Santa Fe Crispy Chicken sandwich and in her words "to die for fries") We asked a few more people and to our surprise they all concurred.

Located in the University center it was a quick walk over. We sampled a few things as my son is a huge eater. We LOVED everything including our guides suggestions.

A salad fan, I tried the Baja Fiesta. I was hooked. A delicious combination of flavors.

I was delighted to find out that the food is fat free and cholesterol free.

We both were stuffed when we left (huge portions) and of course we had to try dessert.

I had a cookie and my son had two slices of the carrot cake.

The only flaw about this restaurant is that there is only one. They informed me that more

are in the works.....Manhattan Beach is next. I am pushing for a San Diego location.

For now I will make my weekly trip up and pray that my son gets into UCI.

If you like food...you'll LOVE The Veggie Grill!. This place is heaven on earth! It's totally casual, but the space is really bright and beautiful. (They even have outdoor seating!) The menu is enormous and 100% vegan! And the food...oh my God, the food...

My friends and I shared everything and we were all beside ourselves: We got the sweet potato fries, the Santa Fe chickin' sanwich, the Island Getaway sandwich (coconut milk-battered tempeh with pineapple), and the Chop Chop Chef salad. Everything was incredible! Even the salad! (Normally I would never waste my time on a salad at a restaurant---too many other exciting options. But my friends and I were struggling with all the choices when the girl taking our order told us it was a popular choice. And I'm telling you, it was good!)

As happily stuffed as we all were, we were not leaving without dessert. We shared the cheesecake, the carrot cake, and the chocolate pudding. (And truth be told, I had a chocolate chip cookie on the way home.) They were all amazing, amazing, amazing. Not one bad bite!

The service was great, the restaurant was spotless, the food came out fast, and everything we ate was incredible. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about The Veggie Grill. Except that they need to open one closer to where I live!

P.S. I would definitely feel confident bringing my meat-eating friends here.

Wonderful Food, Service and Ambiance. My 3 friends and I went here after leaving the Edwards theatre today. We were simply blown away by this place! The food, the people, the patio, the immaculate bathroom and the contemporay look and feel. Did I mention the food? We all had something different, and shared: sandwiches, salads, wings, cupcakes, carrot cake, chocolate chip cookies and wine. We didn't understand till after we were finished that everything we had was free of cholesterol, animal fat and trans fat. The only thing that the food isn't free of is fulfilling flavor. What a great find this restaurant is.

All four of us agreed that we will regularly return to this very special gem.

Great VEGGIE place!. The atmosphere is great, i already have been there twice and it was worth the drive on the 405fwy with all the traffic. I was introuduced to this place by my friend that is a vegetarian and i myself not being one found this place great. The food was great, their selection is not that big, but its a very casual place that serves great food. Its a walk up order service but the food is taken to your table wether you chose to sit inside or outside on the patio, but dont worry there is heat lamps outside which make dinning outside feel warm, the staff is friendly there, and the food is fufilling
