BEST GROOMER IN TOWN. My best friend swears by this shop as if her life depended on it. She has 1 Labradoodle and 2 Poodle mixes. So I decided to take my senior arthritic standard poodle over. Lindell the owner was so attentive to listen to all my little details. I told her Misty hates his ear hair pulled and would put up a fight but please do what you can because for health and sanitary issues it needs to be pulled.

Well when I came back for Misty, she was so beautiful and smelled really good and what impressed me most is the care I saw when they were taking her out of the kennel and being brought over to me. Misty even kissed the groomer who did her. And believe me Misty knows when she is taken cared of. I am sure proper care was given to my senior dog by the way Misty was reacting to them. Her ear hairs were plucked and yes they were a bit red but that is normal and it went away by night time. My friend was right this is the best grooming shop and Misty now considers this her once a month pampering.

Attitude. Lack of caring much!? I took my dog in for the second time and they plucked the hair out of his ears. He was miserable and very swollen from it. They also burned his ear with the clippers.

Knowing that he doesn't like his head trimmed when asked if they should do his tail and ears too I replied I didn't know you do that. Yes if he will let you.( Notice I said if he will let you not torture and force the dog to get it done)

Not being familiar with this service I called a couple times to question if this discomfort was normal or not. Instead of showing compassion or concern for my dog I was greeted with annoyance for even calling.

I ended up having to pay a $210 vet bill.

Mabey this service was a normal procedure but it would have been nice to have been told about it first and explained properly about the possible reactions. It also would of been nice if my questions were met with equal concern and not attitude and annoyance.

Also if you are so busy that you don't have time to address a customers concerns then you are not a qualified groomer in my opinion. The paw spa brags about 25 years of professional service just beware that it doesn't come with proper bedside manners especially if you ask questions!
