great deal for price. If you are looking for a romantic candlelight italian dinner this is not going to be your first choice. However Pomodoro is still a great deal for what you get. The interior is nice with some outdoor sidewalk dining. the decor is red and black and family friendly but not too romantic. The menu wasn't too extensive but they usually have some pretty good specials. The food isn't the best but overall its pretty good. Only medium sized portions but everything i have tried has been very rich and filling. They have great ceasar and caprese salads but other dishes aren't anything to rave about. However, the prices are very affordable $7-$13 a dish which makes this a great place for someone who wants a nice place for a great price. Its also a short walk away from laguna beach which is great for an after dinner walk.

Excellent Menu Items and Atmosphere!. This is the best italian food place in town! From the spaghetti with meatballs to the BEST chicken fettuccine I have every tasted! When ever I go, I look forward to the bread with the pesto sauce because it is just do delicious. As a healthier alternative, you can change a selection of the menu items to using whole wheat pasta, and it makes it just as good or better. The vegetable soup is delicious as well, to start off the meal or to have as a main course. The one thing I would dock the restaurant for is the occasional slow service. I once waited about forty minutes for my meal, but after its arrival, it made up for the long wait. Over all, A+ for food and fun atmosphere for families, friends, and even couples!

Worst Dinner I've had in a long time. I have eaten here for lunch once before and it was quite good so we were looking forward to a good dinner. The appetizer should have been an indication this was either a different chef or he was just having a very bad day.

Ordered mussels for a starter, and they weren't good at all. They had a distinct fishy flavor which a well steamed mussel shouldn't have. When our meals came both of us literally had one bite and it was enough. My pasta was much too al dente, and the chicken marsella looked and tasted horrible. Overall the only appealing part of the restaurant was the wine and beer selection, but we left shortly after tasting our dinner. Would not recommend at all for the PM, try lunch.

The seating is also very cramped and uncomfortable.
