Alicia is a hair genius!. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Alicia when she was doing the hair/makeup for my good friend's wedding(1 of the other people who wrote a glowing review!),and not only is she very sweet and patient,but also amazingly talented!I showed her a picture of what I wanted,and in under 15 minutes she gave me a gorgeous 40's style up do that complimented my dress like a charm and that I received compliments on the entire day!My hair is thick and curly which can be hard to handle,so finding a gem like Alicia who is very skilled and a true artist is priceless.She made me a huge fan,and I live in L.A. as well but will definitely make the trip south for her!

Best place ever!. Alicia first worked her magic on my hair in 2001. I made the mistake of trying to get a cheap haircut somewhere else which she amazingly fixed and I have been going to her ever since. I have thick, wavy strawberry blond hair. I used to color it blond myself and once tried to color it back to red. I ended up with orange hair! Alicia was able to fix that too (I don't color my own hair anymore)! I live in LA now and I still make the drive to Orange because it is so worth it! I've recommended her to many of my friends who are now regular clients. She's doing the hair and makeup for my wedding too.

City of Orange GEM!. I literally stumbled into this beauty salon when the one I wanted to check out (next door) was closed. I was new to the area and desperately needed my VERY curly hair cut. I walked in and made an appointment for both me and my husband.

This is by appointment only business. I was very impressed with the overall feel of the place. Vintage City of Orange. This place could be in the heart of Old Towne Orange and I immediately loved it.

I was worried because my hair is thick and curly and many a hair stylist has screwed it up before. Alicia, who is the owner and operator, asked me what I wanted. She also told me of all of her advanced training ... and it is extensive. She also has very curly hair which she tames. I took the plunge!

I was so happy with my cut I've been going to her ever since. It has been almost 3 years. I am always able to get my hair cut when I want to because she is very accommodating and I appreciate that. I cannot believe how upbeat and positive she always is and I leave smiling. She is a great person and a terrific stylist. She also does hair and make-up for special occasions like prom and weddings.

My oldest daughter still goes to her for cut and color and she now lives in San Diego. Alicia always does a beautiful job.

If you need a good cut and style then I would highly recommend Alicia.
