Great Care From Associates Who Take Their Jobs Seriously. Someone explain to me why this place does not have a better rating. We went in on one of the busiest shopping days of the year and the line was long and everyone that worked there was patient and polite. I told the salesperson what I wanted, I was given options, the prices were fair...and wait a minute...did I mention that there are salespeople and that they work with the customer one on one. Yes, I did. Go ahead, where else are you going to find that....Costco? no, Target? No, Best Buy?, Heck no, Fry's?, Negative. If you want great care from associates who take their jobs seriously, Samy's is your store.

They Really Started My Journey in Photography. I come here for all my camera needs. I even come here sometimes just for advice on how to shoot. I'm 19 and when I walk in I ALWAYS get greeted. From the first time (about a year ago) til present day,I have always been greeted. The first time I went I and bought a camera (Forgot what model) I knew nothing about Cameras. I was greeted by one person and when I told him I was here to buy a camera, he got someone to help me right away. I learned and bought my first camera here. They were patient and understanding. They helped me understand and start my journey in photography. Anyways, I go back to get my stuff even though I can find the same thing on ebay or craiglist, but here I know I'm paying for quality. I own a a couple of random cameras and a d80. I planning to upgrade to a d90 soon.

phenomenal staff. I had a great experience at Samys in Santa Ana! The staff really knows what they are talking about and helped steer me away from spending money on things I didn't need. The salesman who helped me was polite and funny and listened to my newbie questions. I learned a lot of what I thought I knew already! I was happy to hear that the staff is made up of professional photographers who have been there and can offer advice as well as information. The guy who helped me shot for the Angels Baseball team, and the man next to him shot motorcycle racing! Ask to see their portfolio sometime.

WOW!. Came in the other day during one of their big sales. WOW! This place can get busy! I was actually impressed at just how good the service was considering how busy it was. There must have been about a dozen or so salespeople to help out at least 50 customers. And yet the salesperson I dealt with was courteous, friendly, helpful and I felt that he was an expert at what he was talking about.

Got the most awesome camera!. I got the most awesome camera ever here and I couldn't be happier! The guy who helped me was so nice and he made sure I choose the right camera for my needs. They have a wonderful selection and you know if you go here you'll definitely find what you're looking for.

Great Staff. Justin has been remarkable in his care and patience in trying to get Nikon to solve my camera malfunctioning problems. My camera is still under the first year warranty, and I have had to return to Samy's 3 times with problems. I am not happy with Nikon, but Justin was terrific.

I highly recommend this store to anyone serious about photo. Excellent service, friendly knowledgeable salespeople. They always seem to have what I am looking for and are very helpful. I highly recommend this store to anyone serious about photography.
