I was at Morningside for 3 months and I gained all the skills I need to stay sober. On top of that I learned how to maintain a schedule, a good diet and an exercise routine. By far their adventure program was the best part for me. I grew the most in such a short period of time. I don’t know how to explain it. It was amazing.
When I got to Morningside I was a mess and I perceived everyone around me had it all together. Now, I feel somewhat of the opposite, and I feel like I have my head straight now and am calm and can think clearly. That’s a pretty big testament to the program for me. It left me excited about what the future holds.
I got sober here and got my meds right. I was able to clear up issues and non issues and was able to work thru my issues to achieve clarity. The amount of freedom given at msr was just right in order to transition properly into the real world. I’ve talked to a lot of people that have been through the rehab circuit, they say this is one of the better ones. The people that work here care.
I accomplished what I went to Morningside for and I got my program restarted again and got a lot of insight on myself and got a good idea of what the problem was and how to deal with it. I was able to get down to the underlying causes and do some work which was needed. If it was my first time through, 30 days would not have been enough but I learned a lot here and need now I can go back and take care of my responsibilities.
I definitely recommend MorningsideâÂ?Â?s. I definitely recommend Morningsideâ??s program. For me, it is just the fact that when I left I was sad about it. I miss being there. The first place I went to getting clean I could not wait to get out of there. You know you are in a good place when you are not dying to get out of there.
I learned that giving up a substance is easier said than done. I have nothing but good things to say about Morningside. I learned that giving up a substance is easier said than done. They have helped me throughout the past 17 months with my mental disability and taught me that I am stable enough to be in a community around other people without using. For this, I am grateful and I will recommend Morningside in the future as I have done before.
I learned how to set new goals.. Morningside was really good for me. I learned coping skills and thought processes that will help me with everyday life. I got a better handle on my medications. I learned how to set new goals and realized different things in life that make me happy. It gave me time to think, also, about furthering my education.
I got sober here.. I got sober here, and I learned about AA here, which is a huge thing for me. I hated it before, and now I love it.
Morningside was a great place to heal.. Morningside was a great place to heal. My therapist addressed every issue that I had with a professional as well as personal approach. She also really helped my family embrace my sobriety I am not embarrassed anymore to say that I am depressed and have a drinking problem. It was really neat to relate to people that I had felt different from. Having a nutritionist on staff, covering the emotional, physical and mental aspects are terrific. Having so many experts in different fields really is unique and comprehensive.
Well worth the time and money.. The first half of when I was at Morningside was pretty rough. I don’t know if I accomplished anything. But, the last half I feel like I have accomplished a lot and stayed sober for the past 5 months. I have worked on a lot of issues with my therapist, discovered a lot of things and was able to work through things that I didn’t know were there. I graduated Centaur which is awesome because I haven’t finished anything in a long time. I enjoyed it, too. Well worth the time and money.
