Tasty Burrito. Got the blackened chicken burrito, it was a bit different with cabbage but good. Service was decent, but not remarkable. Still, not a bad spot

Yikes? Keep Driving. We liked the place because it was close but had inconsistent service. One night this year the bartender wigged out and started cursing and yelling at my wife and I... We literally did nothing to set him off... It was Valentine's Day of all nights... He thought we were someone else who he didn't like (no, not us... we hadn't been in there in a year) and seriously... ranting, cursing and yelling and calling us names. Not sure if he was chemically-induced or worse, but it was awful. He created such a scene all the patrons were freaked. We explained he had the wrong people but he was too puffy or worse to apologize. Most amazing bad restaurant experience we ever had!

Worst part? The owner never took it seriously. He took a week to respond and only after several attempts, and the best he could do was "gosh.. he's such a valued employee I'm so surprised". A double-negative. It's an easy place to avoid and a great story to tell... And we tell it often. While the bartender's behavior was off the wall we're not the first to experience management arrogance. Off to Avila's El Ranchito for better food and staff that don't have cursing fits.... ;-)

Oh man.. Taco rosa is the best. My fiance and I really love this place. Best margaritas hands down, and two people can split on of their platters and it is more than enough food. Top quality food for sure, i absolutely love this place. We recently went to the new one they opened in Tustin and it was just as good.

The only bad thing we have experienced is at the Tustin one the waiter chased us out to the car and flat out accused us of trying to skip out on the bill. He was pretty ticked off. I paid in cash which i guess is unusual these days but he must have misplaced it because we didn't leave until he took the check off our table. I was a little discouraged from that because I don't like being accused of theivery. All and all this place is great and not to be missed.

Candidate for the Best Mexican food in OC. Taco Rosa is the big brother to the Taco Mesa dine and dash places we all love - and by that I mean, the food and the experience is another step better and worth checking out. They've got the standards like the blackened chicken burrito and salmon tacos, along with restaurant style dishes with lobster, steak, dishes for two and other "nicer" selections. Two things you can't miss are the margaritas and the desserts (warm churros, sopapilla and chocolate fountain.)

Every Sunday they have champagne brunch all morning - and it's FANTASTIC! Full burrito bar, omelet bar, fresh made torillas and pancacks, specialty mexican soup (I crave it and have gone just for the soup) and a rounded selection of fresh made mexican delights - including the churros and chocolate fountain.

They're opening a second Taco Rosa at the Tustin Marketplace in March, so make a point to visit one of these two great restaurants.

Oh yeah, did I mention the margaritas -- you've got to try one (if you like that sort of thing.)
