Low value decent quality. The food is mediocre at best. The pulled pork was overcooked and covered in sauce to try and hide the texture of the meat. The ribs were about the same, dry and oversauced. When asked the staff said that's how we serve it. Would not go back even if it was the only BBQ for 100 miles.

Beach Pit is awesome. The Beach Pit is a great place to hang out on the weekends and have some brews and some great food. I have lots of friends at the bar.

Real BBQ in Southern CA. I was born and raised in Texas so I know good BBQ when I eat it. This place is great! It is one of two BBQ places I highly recommend in Orange County.

Great quick BBQ. The Beach Pit is a great joint for quick, no fuss BBQ. The atmosphere is great for families and the service is good. Parking is available in the back if the front lot is full (people often times forget this).

Kids are loud.... The food is decent and they have an outdoor fire pit that's nice to sit around, but the portions are small for what you pay for.

But parking is dismal, and worst of all is the childrens play area - the decibal level is pretty rough on the ears and patience. Stick to takeout.
