I took my dog for the first time today and overall, LA dogworks is a pretty great place. I can understand some of the negative reviews and spoke with ex employees also. They take care of tons of dogs on a daily basis, so of course not all dogs are going to get 100% attention. But try taking care of 30-40 dogs all in one place, and not have them all barking and trying to have them all stay calm. The staff are super accomodating and try their best to please every dog owners request. My dog is a "no park" dog, and I just make sure that they mark down each time he is taken on a walk. And they even put dogs on the treadmill to give them even more exercise. (Especially when it's scorching hot outside) Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but in LA where dog walkers cost up to $20 an hour, LA Dogworks is worth it. And even now, my dog came home and he's tired! Which is great because he's a very high energy dog.

I am very neurotic about my dog, and was nervous about bringing him anywhere to board. However, LA DOGWORKS makes sure their staff, facilities and daycare is top-notch. The indoor dogpark where they get to play all day while they board is fantastic, the doggy den rocks (where else can your dog watch Animal Planet on a flat screen TV while they nap), the kennels are quite spacious, and the place is CLEAN!!! How they do that is amazing! It seems they pay attention to every dog, and make sure any individual needs are met (feedings, meds, etc). Their groomers are wonderful (although that one guy in charge in that department, who I dont think is a groomer, does have a bit of an attitude), Overall though, I feel the staff is really great - the front desk folks are pleasant and helpful. It is obvious they love dogs as much as I do, and they try to go out of their way to make me and my little guy feel special, welcome and safe. One guy even called me the first time I boarded my dog there a few weeks ago, just to let me know that my dog was doing great, and not to worry......What more can I say!! I love this place, and so does my special little guy......
