Editorial Review for Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace – by Ryan Slattery
In Short
Though the Eiffel Tower isn't visible from any of Savoy's Parisian restaurants, its replica can be seen from the patio at his Caesars Palace location overlooking the Strip. The long modern space features minimalist style: A dark wooden lattice rises dramatically to the high ceiling and circular tables with floor-length tablecloths provide seating for 75. Signature dishes include artichoke black truffle soup, oysters in ice gelée, tri-color caviar and butter-roasted veal sweetbreads.

What to DrinkThe restaurant has a very wide collection of old millesimes and rare wines from small producers. A stunning 950-bottle wine rack greets diners in the entryway.
The ExtrasWhile waiting for your table, you can relax in the champagne lounge next to the fireplace.
Where to SitBesides the main dining room, there is a private dining room seating 30 and two semi-private dining rooms seating eight and 12. A chef's table in the kitchen seats six.
Know Before You GoThe top-notch fare here doesn't come cheap: The ten-course tasting menu costs about $300.

With such a storic history we entered Guy Savoy with much excitment and anticipation, unfortunately it fell short of the mark. Both of us ordered the tasting menu, and while the food was outstanding, for $1400 for two people we felt there should be more to the experience then the food. The service was very stuffy...we never felt relaxed...almost afraid to carry a conversation in regular voice tone....there is no need for the servers to ask you if the food is great on each course....just a little bit to much stroking of your own ego if you ask me...our somellier spilled wine on the table cloth two times, now this might sound very prudish...but for that kinda of money and reputation....that was a true amature and almost Olive Garden mistake. Sorry but we will not be returning any time soon.
Pros: food, flavors
Cons: service

We had an intimate wedding dinner here and they went above and beyond what I expected. Service is outstanding and food excellent. I had them prepare a special wedding cake that was beautifully decorated. The menus were beautifully printed for the occaision and the experience was incredible. I've been to many of the great restaurants in Vegas and this one stands out, much better than Joel R over at the MGM.
