We bought a new range and a microwave last Saturday. I should have known there would be an issue as I was required to sign and initial multiple documents. With the long line behind us a "nice" clerk telling us all the right things we just signed away.
Today (Wed) the appliances came. Not in one truck but two. The range in the morning, the microwave in the afternoon. The range was not installed due to 'technical" issues. The installers rescheduled a "free" follow up for Friday and took the old but functioning stove. The micro wave came. The multiple pierced tech needed to borrow tools and would not install the vent even though the receipt had inserted specific language that required sears to do so.
The microwave tech pointed out where I signed up for a "standard" installation. Ho also pointed out that microwave had operational problems and I would have to schedule a repair call. Not him but me! The next day available to repair is 10 days away.
I started the day with operational cooking appliances and now I have none! Only a promise from sears to send somebody to fix the problems.
Be aware, the purchase price is just the start. Install it yourself or with your own technicians. Jerod (lead sales) at this store will do anything to make the sale. You are on your own after that.
Appalling shopping experience

Sears Outlet online: Appalling shopping experience from A to Z. I ordered a patio set that I was to receive in 3-4 weeks and it never came. After nearly 10 phone calls, that I placed, I got the run-around and received excuses about the shipping company, the carrier involved, etc. They took my number each time and promised a return call once they looked into it, but my phone never rang. It turns out they (not sure which party was responsible) LOST my patio set. At this point, a simple refund would have ended this disaster, but the customer service reps continued to offer no support and no money in my account. Two months after the original purchase date, I finally received a partial refund (they didn’t credit my credit card the shipping costs – which were significant). Again, I had to call customer service for them to reconfirm the order was in fact lost (which I thought we already established 5 calls ago). I understand strange things happen (like a patio set disappearing?) but there is no excuse for how poorly the communication and refund was handled. I will NEVER order anything from them again and suggest you do the same.
Worst purchase i have ever made

Just purchased a new frig from the sears outlet store. Frig worked for a day and then stopped working. The freezer works but the rest of it is useless. Tried numerous times to schedule an appointment to have someone come out and fix it. after telling me they would come between 8-12 or 1-5 they never showed either time. It's going on almost 15 days without a frig and sears hasn't done anything. I feel like they robbed me. I paid almost $1000 for a piece that doesn't work. I will never shop at sears again for anything. I will repost this to every possible site to warn people. The districts mangers email address is sherri.carthart@sears. c o m for anyone else with the same issues. No complaints with any of the employees of the store but the anyone at the corporate office has been useless. This is a failing company.
Never Again

I purchased a washer and dryer and the delivery service totally screwed me. They promised delivery between 4:45pm-6:45pm and did not show up. I called for status at 6:45 pm and they could only take a message; claimed they had no way of reaching the drivers.
Then I left at 7pm to pick up my son from class and they finally showed up at 7:15 pm and spoke with my other son, They refused to deliver since I was not home. My neighbor was here and again they still refused.
Never again will I purchase from Sears Outlet in Santa Ana.

After reading all the reviews we were hesitant to purchase from Sears outlet, however we wanted to look at a refrigerator and washer/dryer for our new home because of the great prices. My husband and I had an absolutely great experience with the staff as well as the delivery. Aida (I think that was her name) helped us with our purchase – she was very patient with all of our questions and didn’t rush us even though the store was closing for the evening. We received a service call the night before delivery to confirm & showed up within the two hour scheduled timeframe to deliver and install. We recieved EXCELLENTservice and highly recommended Sears outlet to anyone looking for home appliances for very good prices. Most importantly, we loveeee our Samsung front load washer/dryer & fridge! :)
