Cool place & hip crowd.
I would've given 3 stars, but the place was pretty darn gorgeous, 3 stars just isn't sufficient.
Interior & exterior design are very well-themed. For a place that looks teeny-tiny from the outside, they successfully made the place seems endless to explore. It felt like going on a mini safari, complete with pretty exotic birds, without lions & tigers.
Their live music bands seem decent. We had a few drinks which were okay. I wish we would've sit in for dinner, but it was already late by the time we got there. Yet the presentation & scent of their food was enough to make us want to go back to try. We're coming back for more!…
Excellent Every Time. I have been here a few times and it is consistently excellent. They have a shuttle service that will pick you up before dinner and take you wherever you want to go after dinner. My wife and I rode in their Bentley to a bar downtown after dinner a few weeks ago. The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere are unmatched. I highly recommend for a romantic date as well as a business dinner.…
Great Place for food and music. Great food and the music was great. Reaggae Sunday is great! I really like the carribbean style options that they have. The patio is kind of an inside/outside pateo so you certainly stay warm on cold nights…
Beautiful restaurant, great food!.
Mozambique is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. They have three dining rooms downstairs, (one garden patio that's very romantic, a casual dining room that's South African inspired, and
an upscale fine dining room complete with a romantic fireplace.) Upstairs they offer a bar with live entertainment, and then an outside coastal lounge with fireplaces and tv's overlooking the ocean. The food is amazing (try the peri peri prawns or the sea bass, delicious!) the staff is very professional and overall Mozambique has a unique edge sure to draw you back time after time!
P.S. Sunday evenings are pretty much a "scene" night, with live reggae and a $5 cover so come early if you want good seats!…
Awesome Sunday Night!. My wife and I, plus a good friend of my wife's had spent the day at the beach near laguna, so we were tired and beat from the afternoon sun. The restaurant was on our way, so we decide to stop for the happy hour and dinner on Sunday night. It was our first time here 8/10/08. Surprisingly, the bar was having a live reggae band (awesome group) performing the entire night and the decor with atmosphere blended very well. Our drinks were $3 for margarita's (good) and jungle juice (delicious). We all had a steak wrap, which was excellent, plus the servicing staff met our expectations. Overall, the whole experience was fantastic, and I've recommended the place several friends in 2 days. I will go back, specifically, for the Sunday happy hour/dinner gig.…
