Nice place!. The atmosphere is what your really paying for. The sushi at best is average and expensive. If you want a nice night with a lady friend come here but if you want good food go somewhere else.

Hip, Chic, Nice Decor. Our waiter and waitress were not rude to us. The only problem was you have to flag them down when you needed something because it took them a long, long time to check back with you to see how you were doing. I love the waterfall outside with the bamboo (very luxurious looking). The inside decor was beautiful. Sort of made you feel like you were in an upscale, hip restaurant in Hollywood. The food was a combo of Japanese and Chinese. It was nicely prepared. This would be great for people who love eat salty food, or PF Changs' fanatics.

It can get pricey!! Overall, it was a decent place to have dinner. The club is conveniently located next door.

Great food and ambiance.. Ten has some really good food. I recommend this place if someone is going out on a date or just someplace to meet with friends for a nice dinner. Plus, they have an awesome night club on the weekends that I HIGHLY recommend.

Finally a New York quality restaurant in the OC. From the moment you enter under the most amazing waterfall to the wonderful

hostess and management staff that greet you at the door, you know you are in for

an experience. The 16 foot buddha watches over the diners as you eat and experience

the most amazing cuisine and ambiance in Orange County. You must have the lobster pancakes ( my favorite). Great place to have large parties too. Plenty of dining areas.

Then Tentation is right next door. The hottest club in town. My company booked our Christmas party there. I am so excited!

Worst service EVER!!. Although the food and ambience is pretty nice, the service/staff has made me never want to go back. The first time I went, I made a reservation for 2. They lost my reservation and I ended waiting an hour. I didn't even get a table inside - but on the patio. I gave the restaurant another shot last night. I made reservations for 4. I showed up 15 min early just in case. Another 45 minutes later, and they still didn't have table for us. There were plenty of 6 top tables open! The hostess explained to us that bigger parties got seated first! We didn't even eat dinner there. What a waste of valet and time.

Service to make you Regret. A group of 8 of us had dinner there on a Sat night. I worked as a server for many years... so normally I am pretty carefree and understanding in situations. From the hostess to server to assistant manager... they were all beyond rude. They broke our party of 8 into two tables, told us we were on a time limit when we shoed up minutes late... hurried us to order and cleared the plates to tell us time was up....

Don't go there..... Spend your money at a better place if you want any type of decent service.

Is this one of those Rude joints?. The food was excellent and ambience was impressive, but let me explain why I gave the service an average rating. Our server was probably one of the top three servers I have ever had. Hands down, this guy was great. The problem was the hostesses had very nasty attitudes, and tried to seat us at several seperate tables even though we had reservations for two weeks. On top of that they insisted on charging a minimum for that large of a party, and still argued when we told them they needed to seat us at the same table. Management had the same attitude.

Hip Newport Beach restaurant and sushi bar provides fresh upscale food and delicious drinks to a fashionable crowd.. The Scene
While waiting for a table, grab a seat in the chic candlelit lounge area, offering great people-watching and cocktails. Deep-red walls, Asian-inspired art and a 16-foot-tall Buddha statue greet guests entering the spacious dining area. Two large sushi bars line the back wall and a full-service bar with dramatic lighting, a waterfall and two plasma TV screens is set to the side. Smartly dressed waitstaff provide friendly and attentive service.

The Food
Start with fresh sushi and sashimi, including the salmon carpaccio and bluefin tuna. Dim sum offerings, such as lobster and spinach dumplings, or scallops shu mai are made to share. A wide array of entrees including Cantonese scallops, grilled lamb chops and kung pao chicken are creatively presented and generously portioned. Finish the meal with decadent chocolate souffle cake or creamy creme brulee.
