Great place to tan. My husband and I have been customers for years and this is a great place to get a great tan, whether it be via tanning bed or spray tan. The tanning beds are always clean and rooms are neat and tidy. Bare Tan offers different "grades" of tanning beds, depending on your budget and quality of tan you are looking for. We always opt for the 12-minute beds and you get FABULOUS color that lasts, so we only have to go once a week to keep great color all-year long. The staff is friendly and service is consistent. And last, but not least, you can't top their hours of operation...6am til midnight?!

Only reveiwing customer service. I just moved into Villa Siena (which is across the street from Bare tans location) from HB and was looking for a salon close to my new place.

When I went into Bare Tan to inquire about rates and see the salon, the girls behind the counter were very unfriendly. They never greeted me when i walked in and never smiled throughout our conversation.

When I asked questions their answers were very short, and almost rude. It seemed like I was bugging them by asking things.

They made me feel as if I was not welcome there or didn't belong there for whatever reason.

Bare tan is a nice, clean salon but customer service was bad. Needless to say I found somewhere else to tan.

Posting that Rivirea Tan on Mcarthur closed its doors. Just posting news that Riviera Tan that had great equipment and a beautiful interior unfortunately closed its doors on Saturday after about 7 years. For those of you who didnt work or live in the area Riviera Tan was located near the corner of Mccarthur and Bristol at the back of a huge apartment complex which had dry cleaners quiznos, Riviera Tan and many other tenants at the front of the complex. thought Riviera would be there for ever. I would like to wish the Owners good luck in their future plans.I Think other press outlets would be better to let all their clents know that Riviera is closed.but maybe a handful of tanners wont waste their time looking for a salon that is closedand gone after reading this. The place to Tan. Been going to Baretan for years. Staff are always so pleasant and make me feel welcome. Tanning deals when they offer them are always so $$ savings, you gotto be nuts not to take advantage especially since they dont expire. They seem to keep their equipment current and well maintained.

Been going to Bare Tan since 2004. I have purchased a couple of minutes packages from them and have been nothing but pleased. They have been great to me. I plan to go there to get a Mystic when I can fit it into my budget. I still UV tan but not as much, and the great thing about BT is that I know my minutes will be there when I want them.

They have great hours (I can go before work if I want to -- its a VERY relaxing way to start a day, believe me! I feel like I just stepped off of the beach.) and its helpful when I am really busy to be able to go whenever I need to!

R u Kidding me. The girls that work at this tanning salon are so obnoxious and rude. I mean give me a break you girls work at a TANNING SALON! How does that give you the right to act the way you do.

Further more, I had a appointment for over a week to get airbrushed tanned for my wedding. Once I got there the girl checked me in (but she acted as if I was interrupting her day). I asked to use the restroom and if she could tell me where it was since I had never been there before, it was like pulling teeth just to get that information from her.. I didn't understand it.

Once I came back from the restroom she informed me that i had "tanning minutes left" I was like what does that even mean? I told her this was my first time there She continued to inform me that I bought a package in 2005 and only used and paid for half of this so called tanning package. I said thats impossible I have NEVER been here before. I kept telling her it isn't me, I don't even tan in the tanning bed. I am a esthetician and I always mystic tan or airbrush tan. SHE INSISTED that it was me. Then she read me some address that I have never lived at and further more I had just moved back to california from Las Vegas where I had been living since January 2005 she then told me "If you don't pay the balance, we can't airbrush you today" She said this a few time which made me very angry since the tone in her voice was so rude and disrespectful I was livid! My wedding was in two days, I was on a schedule that day, nails, toes, hair, etc... I didn't have time to try and find someone who had time to fit me in to spray me..She was so rude to me I just almost walked out (I should've walked out) I asked to speak to the manager but he conviently was not there. The girl that actually performs the airbrush tan ended up saying' "don't worry I will tan you" but she wasn't happy about it. In the room she was nice, but I was completly uncomfortable since the other girl was so rude to me up front, once I came out of the tan nothing was said to me about this so called balance, WHICH LET ME JUST SAY ONE LAST TIME... IT WAS NOT ME, it was possible someone has my same name>? I will never go back there and I do not recommend this place, if you aren't in all your labels and put together they treat you like trash, and let me reasure you just because someone doesn't have their best clothes on to tan doesn't mean they don't have $ and even if I was or wasn't loaded with $ what business is it of these girls at the TANNING SALON? And what gives you the right to treat people the way you do. This was the worst experience.

great place for a tan. I wanted a tan before going on vacation and bare tan was perfect. They advised me on what bed would be best for me . I got a gorgeous tan before i left and i'll be back to keep it up!!

No.1?? Yeah right!. I tanned there for about 2 years and saw a large insect in one of the rooms. I don't think the beds are cleaned very well and recently, they turned off the air or something because it was so hot every time i went in. I tried the airbrush a couple times but it came out orange and blotchy. i liked the beds but after the insect thing i dont want to go back.

WASTE OF MONEY. When I moved to Irvine, this was the closest tanning salon. I paid for expensive tanning packages here and had NO results. The tanning beds look legit, but the bulbs are ALWAYS weak. EVERY time I went I asked for a bed with new bulbs and they always seemed to have one for me. "We just changed them!" And NOTHING. NO results. Dont waste your money here. Try ONE tan and go elsewhere. You will never want to go back, because it's a waste of time! Don't take my word for it though, you WILL walk out wondering why you don't look any different.

Best Tanning Salon in OC. Bare Tan is the best tanning salon I've ever been to. First of all, it's beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are great too! I highly reccomend this salon.
