Horrible Experience. My husband booked a spa day for me for my birthday. He booked the most expensive package they have. They told him that if he needed to cancel that he would have 24 hours to do so. Our son was sick the day before and I knew I would not be able to go. I cancelled the package more than 24 hours ahead of time. The next that I see is a $410 charge on our credit card. We called Glen Ivy and explained that they charged us even though we cancelled in time. They said that they would talk to the manager and they would call us back. No one called us back. We called and left at least 5 messages for the manager and another manager and no one has called us back. Finally, we had to put in a dispute with our credit card company and they had to resolve the matter. These people are horrible and will do anything to get your money.

BAD BAD BAD. Very bad. This is the ideal statement that would first come to mind if speaking of this place. I am a serious spa goer and I am sad to see such high marks about this place.

My own situation started about two months ago when I subjected myself to this spa. I received a gift card from my friend to sign up for a facial. This facial was horrible and the tech talked about herself the whole time. She did not tell me about any of the products that were put on my face and told me that I did not need extraction, but when I went home I ended up doing it my self.

My first choice was to go to Burke Williams for a pedicure but no appointments where available, so I decided to go to Glenn Ivy for a second time. I figured they could not mess up a simple pedicure, but oh wait I was wrong. My friend and I walked in to get a pedicure. We were told that there was only one nail tech on staff and said that we could have our pedis one after another with both of us in the room. T he tech called us to follower her. When we got there she said that we were lucky to that they allowed both of us in the room at the same time(when she said that I did not now if we were suppose to be forever grateful). We sat in our chairs, and she told us that she would be right back. Ok, that usually means about 3-5mins. Oh no, I think she took her lunch because she did not come back for about 25mins (not exaggerating). My friend and I left, went to the front desk to speak to the manager. He offered a gift card. I told him not necessary. I will never be back.

I am sorry but life is to short to deal with that, and from now on I will stick to Burke Williams, and Bellacures.

Amazing Hidden Retreat. Once you step foot inside the GlenIvy, you'd never imagine you were still at the mall. The atmopshere was very serene. I usually find instant relaxation once I'm greeted, however, the receptionist was less than cordial. They had misspelled our last name when taking the reservation and tried to make it seem like we had made the mistake. Once she found us, her whole attitude shifted towards pleasantries. Everyone else who worked here was respectful and caring. I wished I had allowed more time in my schedule so I could have endulged in the sauna or the hot tub. There's always next time, right? Overall it was another great day trying a new spa!
