Veronese cafe needs name change: Korean cafe.. Pushy waiters, terrible customer service, and a aura of antisemitism. If you are not Korean, I advice you to go somewhere else. The waiters treat you like your broke, the food is overpriced, and the waiters are rushing you out the door. I really enjoyed visiting the Veronese Cafe, but I am so sad and disappointed with their abrasive behavior and underlying attitudes. So I will not set foot in that place again.

Ambiance good, food horrible!. The food was NOT worth the price! I could've almost sworn that the potato salad they give with the sandwiches tasted like it came straight from Costco, and the citron tea is this goopy syrup/jelly stuff that they just mix with water. My sandwich wasn't so bad, but it wasn't great either. For such a gorgeous little place, it's a shame the food and service wasn't better. Workers were quite rude, and food took a long time to come out.The shaved ice is just like a cold cereal bowl, melted ice and milk with a bunch of fruits topped with fruity pebbles cereal... :/ ugg Guppies is soo much better for shaved ice! I must say that I would go back only for the ambiance, and get the cheapest thing there...maybe coffee because they do refills.

Hidden Gem. In a not-so-great section of Fullerton lies this hidden gem. From the outside, it seems like a normal cafe, but once you walk in, you are transported to another world. Get a menu, and then go outside and sit in one of the many private areas. Bring a book and a blanket OR some friends and a board game, and be prepared to be relaxed and refreshed. Be warned! All drinks, no matter how simple or fancy, seem to be between $3.75-$5.00. That being said, the more complex drinks are value-priced. I love the citrus tea. My friends have tried the iced frappucino and the kiwi juice in syrup, and they are both winners. It is also very romantic. Just pick the right room.
