I have been a customer for years! and never any problems.. I've been going there for many years! First to the one in Fullerton and then to the one in Buena Park. I've never had any problems. They do the jobs when the car needs it and the rates are descent. In the long run I save money because "knock on wood" my car has not broken down yet and it's in top condition. The only time when I was like suspicious was maybe during the worse time in the recession but even then it was cool. The extra stuff in the car was excellent. By extra stuff I mean the upgrades on the services. I did a debt settlement on that Goodyear card so it was fine lol Funny stuff uh?
I can't believe I experienced this!.
Dropped off my car there, they voice mailed me to say that price is increasing from $60 to $140, and that they are not responsible for any damages made during installation. They also offended me by saying "don't even call if you're going to try and bargain". I filed a complaint regarding the ridiculous policy and the assumptions made about my income status. i was on my way to get my car back when the cust. serv. dept. told me to tell Scott Summers, the manager, about my complaint. When I did that, he said that I was stupid for (some technical tire terms), and just walked away. I said "excuse me mr. manager boy, don't walk away from me when i'm talking to you". He angrily came back at me and said, "boy! you called me a boy, you f***in yellow c**t!" (i'm asian). That is when I became angry, and we had a loud cussing match, during which time I was called a "yellow, b**ch, sl*t, c*nt..." He even told my brother to "come back at six so that he can kick his a*s", and told me to "come back at six so that he can bend me over and stick his big white c*ck up my yellow a*s". The horrible thing is that they had an asian worker there who has to work under this manager who racially slurs asians.
What tops all of this off is that I took my car to America's Tire Co. to find out that the tires weren't even compatible with my car. What would have happened to my car if I would have let Goodyear install the tires? And I wouldn't even be able to get anything fixed because "their policy is to not be responsible for damages made during installation".
I have never been so offended in all of my life. It is also obvious that they do not know what they are doing because they were going to install tires, which a different tire company wouldn't even consider installing.
