California Fish Grill. Good meal affordable prices, good people and service always, very clean I find that all the California Fish Grills are good food, excellent service, good price, good service, cook your food when you order it , shrimp, Chicken and different types of fish all fresh when you order. It really is a great place to eat.....

great food, POOOOR service. Ive been eating here for years and it really is great, fresh seafood thats very cheap to boot. The wraps here are the best ever, and I usually shy away from wraps at restaurants because they tend to be dry and tasteless.

However, Ive always noticed that they're customer service levels are atrocious. They're not blatantly rude, but all the employees seem to have their noses in the air and at least to me, make me feel almost guilty for making them work and do their job. I am now speaking out because of a "last straw" experience that happened to me today.

Now I dont want to pull out the race card, but being a "minority" just like the people who run the fish grill, I feel as if their service toward me is skewed as compared to them servicing a white customer. Just this last visit today, i stood behind a white customer and the cashier seemed a lot nicer, smiling and even joking with that customer. When I came up, the smile disappeared and it was all business betwen us, and the same behavior was repeated over and over with different customers....am i still paranoid?

I love fish grill food, but equal service needs to seriously improve. I think I might be better off going to a lunch truck and ordering tacos from there.
