Mediterranean Food in Mission Viejo – Great food here. Get a half beef half chicken shwarma, some tea and some baklava, and you'll be set. It's usually pretty busy, but the nice outdoor atmosphere and eats make up for it. Check it out!
LET'S BE HONEST HERE – I think it's crucial here to understand the difference between a BUSINESS and personal feelings. The restaurant itself has been wonderful each and every time I have visited. However...Men out there, your girlfriend is most likely interested in the owner: Deal with your insecurities or find a girl who isn't looking for someone else. To the girls who desperately want a date: the owner is a high-class man who is respectful and old-fashioned. Throwing yourself at him probably doesn't make you seem anything other than easy. I'll save you some time and embarassment: He doesnt want your number, so get over yourself.
So again, Village Cafe is one of my favorite places to relax, especially after 9 when every other restaurant is closed. The restaurant is clean inside and out, the employees are respectful, ID's are checked for EVERYONE who isnt a regular, and the food is traditional, homestyle, and well-priced for the quality. I really wish these reviews would address the quality of the establishment rather than the insecurities of the patrons.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! – THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! There is underage smoking, rude service, and its guaranteed your going to be over charged. The owner needs to needs to understand that doing business in the USA is completely different than doing business in the middle east! The food is of poor quality, and located rodents in the kitchen. I do not understand how a place like is still open to the public. It makes me sick to know there is a place like this in my neighborhood!
Best Hookah + Food in O.C – The Village Cafe in Mission Viejo is a Hookah bar / restaurant, and mixes the best of both worlds. With comfortably heated outside seating and a friendly staff, this is the place to go if you wish to have good food and a good smoke.
The Hookah flavors are extraordinary, with a variety of custom mixes and house specialties available.I have been here quite a few times and never been dissappointed with any aspect of the restaurant. The food is a mixture of arabian cuisines, and almost every thing on the menu is recommended, especially the mixed grill platters, Shish kabobs and the grilled chicken, and don't leave without trying a plate of the french fries.
Weekends are busy, so get there early / call in advance.
Hopefully you have an extraordinary experience here as we always have.
