Nice for Sunday Brunch

My husband and I enjoy coming here for Sunday Brunch. The food and service are both good. We love the view on the patio of the sailboats entering and leaving the harbor and there is usually a solo guitarist out there as well.

The downside is that the choices are limited and the place needs refurbishing,

WARNING:

Try not to get a table with the waitress who has long brown hair (she usually works the patio on Sundays). She is cute and nice enough when she occasionally shows up at your table. However, most of the time she walks right by you while your glass sits empty. She ignores your gestures or polite calls to her. You have to get in her face to get her attention that you need service. She consistently forgets to bring your first course of pastries and fresh fruit, and never asks if you need condiments with your meal or sweetener for your iced tea. I want to give her more than a 15% tip, but honestly she just does not earn it.

• Cons: Needs Refurbishing (and one waitress needs retraining)

Go for the ambience, not the food

I went here for a company party in December and really liked it. We had prompt drink service and decent appetizers, and the view was stunning. The patio was heated, but the staff turned off the lamps as soon as it got too warm. Almost everyone ordered the seafood pasta, and was dissappointed. I think the beef was better, though I'm not sure. We had a good time, nice location, nice service. When one of my coworkers decided to eat my dessert when I got up to use the bathroom the waiter was nice enough to bring another :P I recommend it for group events.

• Cons: food isn't great

Don't be tricked by the rating!!!

It was an awful experience. First they messed up my cocktail by giving me some other brand then what I asked for and not letting me know, thinking that I will have no clue about it. Then when we got our menus, instead of letting us know what they are out of, we pretty much had to try to order it first, and then the waitress will tell us that they are out of it. And then we finally made our selections, the waitress took the order and came back 5 mins later, and said "we are out of that, can we subsitute it with this instead." Come on get a clue, wouldn't you know what you have, and what you don't have? I would not recommend by enemies to this place. I will never go back.
