Incredible Wine Knowledge!. Marc and Louise take the time to understand your wine likes and dislikes and can always recomment the perfect bottle for whatever occassion you need. We belong to their wine club and always receive truly special wines. Their Friday night wine tastings, paired with their incredibly wonderful cheeses and other goodies are the best way to begin the weekend and we've learned so much about the wines offered by attending these events.

Excellent wines, cheeses, and ambiance. We have been attending wine tastings at La Maison Gourmet for a few years now. Each tasting event is a delicious pairing of wines and cheeses. The hosts, Mark and Louise, are always available to answer questions about food pairings, as well as suggesting particularly extraordinary wines.

Their shop carries beautiful giftware and specialty gourmet items.

We always love to attend their tastings on the patio overlooking the lake.

Not only the best wine selection, but the best patio around. This place is special. You can not get a better backside, lakeside patio. And you can not get better service. And you do not have to pay alot for any of it. Louise, thank you and I will be back with friends! I can imagine a great event here!

Best Wine Shop in OC!. Mark and Louise take time to learn your likes and dislikes, and frequently suggest other wines to try. I have always been a creature of habit, staying with only a few varieties. Now, I rarely have the same bottle more than once!! And they are experts at pairing the wine with great cheeses and meats. There is nothing better than to sit on their patio over-looking the lake, and enjoying a great bottle of wine. Everyone needs to attend a Friday night wine tasting... you will have a great time and learn a lot.

Great atmosphere with personalized service. We love La Maison Gourmet. Marc and Louise give the best personalized service of any wine store we have been in....and we have been in a lot!! They have a great selection of wine. They are always looking for that perfect wine to fit our tastes and at a great price. They have not disappointed yet. We also love the cheese shop...great selection and Marc is really good at pairing the cheeses with the wines. You will love this place..

Great Wine Selection. My wife & I drive from Anaheim Hills to Mission Viejo Lake to enjoy the ambiance and personal attention given by the owners. Marc has never missed when recommending a wine to us. Give Marc an idea what you like in a wine and he can get it right every time. We take and meet friends for their wine tastings that often include the wine makers and/or owners of well know wineries. Their deli of cheeses salads and pates adds to La Maison as a great all around experience.

A taste of class. The intimacy and scenery sitting lake side and being served wine during their weekly wine events. The pairing of cheese and pate that complement these events, as well are outstanding. Marc and Louise's ability in suggestions of wines, cheeses and pates have added a special taste to any party we have put on, going beyond expectations. A slice of Europe right here.

Best Original Place for a Date. The lakefront terrace is an ideal spot for sipping wine and sampling La Maison gourmet's abundant specialty meats and cheeses served attractively on a platter with fruits and nuts. Their specialty is the best tasting, hard-to-find low production wines in all price ranges. My favorite is their Pate`. Marc and Louise are perfectionists at carrying the best quality. Try their Winemaker Friday Night tastings.

A real find on the lake....... Outstanding selection of hard-to-find and low production wines as well as the classic favorites. I've been shopping there almost from the day they opened.

Additionally, they have an ambitious tasting schedule often with the winemakers themselves. The venue overlooking Lake Mission Viejo couldn't be more beautiful.

Best New Find. I just recently found La Maison after a reccomendation from a friend. What a surprise ! The owners Mark and Louise are a delight ! The wine selection is incredible, as are most of the wonderful cheeses and meats that are unique to La Maison and not easily found elsewhere. The wine tastings are the best ! Drinking exceptional wines and noshing on the best food while enjoying the ambiance of the lake make for memorable events
