Great Burgers and Sandwiches. This week, while I head toward an academy near Knott's Berry Farm, I noticed Paul's Place, which I have read and seen very good reviews from online and from friends, one of them claiming that she was the daughter of the owner. Anyways, I step inside and there are barely any people inside. I have heard that this place was crowded, but I guess today I came at a bad time.

____

The decor was very beach-ish for me,. It wasn't exactly eye-candy, but it was a good-enough atmosphere for families to just sit down and enjoy burgers and sandwiches.

____

Anyways, I decided to order the Garden Burger, because I've been trying to go on a diet. I get this bigger than average burger with fries on the side. I eat the burger, and I feel like I'm in heaven. The burger patty itself tasted like it was really beef. However, after a closer inspection of the patty, I found no beef in the patty itself. Now this was a great veggie burger! A veggie burger that tastes like beef without containing any meat. Pleased with the burger, I was still hungry, so I bought a Gryos Sandwich.

____

I get the sandwich. It looks like a regular byros sandwich, like the one's that anyone can get at Daphne's. I take a bite and I realize that this gryos sandwich is a lot more different than the gryos sandwich at Daphne's. the gyros in this sandwich was composed of somewhat thick slices of grilled lamb meat instead of that rotated meat. It came with some tzatziki that contained some cucumber chunks. It was thick, but not too thick, and went well with the gyros. The gyros samdwich also had som tomatoes and onions inside, but there weren't enough tomatoes and onions to make a taste difference.

____

Later in the future, I will defitely be coming here more and more often!!!

The Stuff!!. Paul's is perhaps the best fast food place I have ever been to. It is local to me so I might be a bit partial, but I highly recommend Paul's. about the size of a Carl's jr in relation to seating. Great !! food, value, service and selection. Be sure to come hungry because the plates are generous.

WOW. First Visit and I am hooked. Try the Feta Burger combo... WOW this thing is great. Had the steak sandwich and that is good too. But wow, the combo is awesome it comes with obviously a burger with Feta Cheese on it. But the combo includes "Potato Chip-style" fries which anyone who goes to LA County fair or the Del Mar fair knows and knows how great the fries that look like flat potato chips...knows how awesome they are and these come with a huge helping on your plate and they drop on top crumbles of Feta Cheese. WOW I don't have to wait once a year for the fair to get my Potato Chip Fries. NICE!!!!

great place. I have to say that I have lived many places. Including, Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana, off the coast of Australia, and California, and the best burger I have ever had was at this place. But you have to get the double. The single just isnt the same. Get a double burger with cheese, and just wait. It may take a while to digest, but it will be worth every last bite. And the fried mushrooms are wonderful too.
