4/26/2013 This place is horrible and I will never return. Paid for dysport--15 units more than I usually do and the nurse couldn't get my frown lines correctly? When I returned for them to fix the problem they wanted to charge me more money for them to fix their mistake saying because I'm older now I now need 35 more units--I would totally follow this logic--except for the fact that I'm 33

Clean, Fast and Perfect. First off, I was a walk in, no appointment. As it turned out I wasn't the only walk in that day. They took my name, I signed forms and was in a room within 15 minutes. But let me tell ya this place was packed with ladies. They were moving fast and soon so was I. I got into the treatment room and just wanted some Botox. The nurse sized me up and told me what I needed. It took 10 minutes! Tops...I mean there was no endless chat about options and upsells. Some people want to take there time that's fine, but I have things to do all day and it's awesome to be able to walk in and get what you need and back to your life. No painful waiting like doctor offices who think there time is more important than there patients. Here is the best part....by far the BEST Botox I have ever had! Highly recommended.

DERM FX NIGHTMARE -BEWARE. I went to Derm Fx in Sunset Beach for a IPL/Photo Facial for my shoulders and chest. I have had an IPL before so I know what they feel like. A Nurse came into my room and started with the procedure, did not look at my chart or review anything with me and seemed to talk a million miles a minute. After the 3rd zap from the laser, I told her that it seemed too strong and was hurting/burning me, it did not feel like prior IPL's I had experienced. She said "Oh not to worry and that I would look great when it was done" . BIG MISTAKE! A 2nd nurse came in during the treatment and I told her that something was wrong and that I was in pain, she immediately had the 1st Nurse stop. They reviewed the setting and it was not set at what it should have been for my IPL. It was on the wrong setting! They rushed me into a room and turned on some cooling machines and put ice balloons on the burns. I was scared out of my mind. I stayed for an hour as they iced me and applied all kinds of creams on my skin. I asked if i was going to be ok, the Nurse that treated me said oh you will be fine. I WAS NOT FINE. I was in so much pain and so uncomfortable, I went to the Hospital and I was told that I had 3rd degree burns and blisters. I was in tears. I did not sleep for the first two nights, I missed a week at work due to the fact that I could not wear a bra or a top for that matter and I could barely move my head, neck and shoulders. When I left Derm Fx the Nurse that did the treatment told me should would call me the next day and make sure I was ok and she would "Fix" anything that she caused. SHE NEVER DID. NO ONE CALLED ME TO CHECK ON ME PERIOD. I had blisters all over my chest, which are now scars. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HAVE NOT BEEN BACK TO DERM FX. I emailed Terri, whom was my consultant and told her of the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE that I had gone through, I did not get a call from her either, she sent me an on line survey to fill out and when you click on it, it did not even take you to the survey. If you are planning on a visit, I would say run as fast as you can. They certainly did not care about me or what happened to me. I was and still am shocked at the whole situation. Not sure how they can get away with this kind of neglect. Or how the Nurse that treated me....could sleep at night. It was the worst thing I have ever gone through. Jacqueline

IPL Scar Nightmare. I went to Derm FX for an IPL in May 2010. The procedure was performed quickly, carelessly and far too agressively.Having had successful IPL treatments at other Doctors' offices, as well as laser and chemical peels, I have enough experience to address the ineptitude of this particular person. I walked out of Derm FX shockingly red.I then scabbed and swelled for 7 days. (I went to my brother's wedding with a swollen face.) The worst part is that when the swelling subsided, I was left with small pock marks all over my face - particularly around the eye and upper cheek areas. It's now three and a half months later and a reputable Dermatologist is trying to repair the damage. It will take a long time and some of it is permanent.

I Feel Awesome. Dermfx, which I just found out now has a location in Redondo Beach is only place to come for Botox, Thermage, Fraxel, etc. Photofacials too! I had the worst sun damage on my chest and it's gone!! I look like I'm twenty again, before I screwed up my chest. The girls at Dermfx are so unique they must be the best trained or just love their work, I can't tell but they so take care of me. It's like a girls club there. Every staffer has done the procedures so they tell you the TRUTH about the procedures. Thx Chicas

Never Come Here!. All I have to say is I walked out of this place. Very unprofessional. I was sitting in the waiting room for an hour with numbing cream on my face. Not to mention when I left all the staff was downstairs hanging out. Also no one called me after I left to see what happened to me and if I was ok. I think they knew they had done something wrong. It was my first and will be my last visit!

I'm loving it!. I had Sculptra done and it was awesome. It's funny it takes quite a while to start working and MUST keep a before photo handy to see it kicking in. It was expensive but Dermfx was the best price, and clearly they totally know what they are doing. I have told everyone who as asked and I say go for it! I have been back for botox as well and that too was so much more effective on one visit. The other locations I went to must have diluted, and their prices sucked! Dermfx price was $9 a unit which is cheaper than anybody. I was told that they do more botox than anybody in the state. I wouldn't doubt it. Botox Rocks! So did Sculptra! I'll be back girls

awesome acne work. acne has been killing my social life, I found Dermfx on Myspace and saw they weren't too far. I went for a consultation and they cut me an awesome deal. They results are awesome!! I have done everything they said and it worked for me. I'm totally pumped, thanks ladies!!!

finally some results from botox!!!. great results!! I have been getting botox for years now and the results were so so. One treatment at Dermfx made such a difference it makes me wonder what I was being injected with at other places. and it was a much better price!! they do many services but haven't tried those yet.

User review by edie_jay2001. I had a filler injected for vertical lip lines. I had to go back because they missed the two deep lines I had pointed out. I still have the vertical lines PLUS a very lumpy look.
