This place was once good but has now taken a dive. I don't know if it's because they focus on Ladera Ranch. But both locations are average and over-priced.

Nice Ambiance; Poor Food

My experience at the Beachfire located in Ladera Ranch was not one I would wish to relive. I was excited at first, because the beachy, fun feel reminded me of vacations and Hawaii. However, I was dissapointed to find out that the food did not match my fond memories. I sent my artichoke back 2 times (To a disgruntled waitress...) because it was SO undercooked, but even then, they still didn't manage to get it right. My fish was so overwhelmed with pepper, it was hard to stomach; and I couldn't even taste the flavor of the fish!
The only saving grace was the "s'more" desert, which was simple, sweet, and tastey. ...But even that couldn't get me to come back. It's highly overrated.

I enjoyed myself immensly at this hip restaurant ... the art and atmosphere is very cool ... my dinner was yummy but expensive ... great date night and actually kid friendly too ... enjoy.
