We were desperate for a good thin crust real italian pizza. After finding another recommended restaurant closed, we headed to Newport beach hoping to find something on the fly. Starving, we happened into Il Farro. Following the recommendations of our waitress, we ordered two homemade pasta dishes and one margarita pizza. It was all wonderful. The pastas were fresh and firm. The pizza was heavenly. In addition the prices were amazingly low and the portions were HUGE! The service and staff was also lovely. This would be great for a family group or a romantic dinner. Afterward you can stroll out onto Newport pier. Absolutly the only drawback was that the parking was a little tricky, but that's always true for parking right next to the beach. Try it!

If you come here, try the farro pastas. They are easier to digest than semolina pastas and taste better. Whatever you do try will be great!
