Finally discovered an awesome Sushi spot in Tustin!!!!. I've been searching for a weekly sushi spot to satiate my sushi fix and I finally found it. Wasa was such a pleasant surprise especially cause it's in the Tustin Marketplace so when I'm about to run errands or after I finished shopping i can get my dose of Yellowtail Jalapeno (which everyone seems to be serving now but THEY do it REALLY REALLY well) a truly melt-in-your-mouth and virtually orgazmic experience! plus they have some really interesting tapas style dishes like this crispy mushroom pomme frites dish that's awesome with an ice cold beer. I haven't had many things on the menu except sushi and a few dishes but what I've had so far was quite delicious. I can't wait to go back.

AMAZING SUSHI. ever been to a restaurant where EVERYTHING on the menu sounded freakin awesome and you had no idea where to start??

wasa sushi is definately my weekly fix, and i HAVE to order the seared yellowtail with jalapeno (with a garlic ponzu sauce) and their crispy shitake mushroom appetizer to start off with. everything they have just melts in your mouth from their creative sushi to the hot entrees (for non sushi lovers), and, don't forget, the DESSERTS. i'm a major dessert person, so if a restaurant's main entree is good, but the desserts aren't, then i probably won't come back for a while.

but wasa's got it all: great appetizers, great sushi, entrees, and sweets!!

Best Sushi in Town. My wife recently took me here after discovering it by accident. I was really skeptical at first cause it was in the shopping center but now I'm convinced that this is the best sushi in Irvine hands down. We ate at the sushi bar and pretty much stuck to traditional sushi but then my wife ordered some sushi from their special menu and the chef made this seared toro tartare that tasted so good i can't even find the words to describe it.. all i know is since that night I haven't been able to kick my sushi craving. I'll definitely be back this week.

This place is a hidden gem!!!. I've recently had to relocate from NYC to Orange County because of work and it's been really tough adjusting. Don't get me wrong, I love the weather here but I really miss the food in NYC. After all, it's food capital of the world! But just the other day my cousin, who lives in the area, took me to this place that gave me hope and I was seriously blown away. When we drove into the parking lot and walked in I thought it looked okay...nothing to fancy or chic. But when we sat down at the sushi bar the magic began. She ordered most of the dishes that their known for I even added a few more that sounded amazing to me... and they were right on point. I'm definitely going back asap cause at the moment it's the closest thing that reminds me of my favorite neighborhood sushi joint in NYC... but better! Great job to the chefs!

Great Fusion Sushi. Some of the most inventive Sushi you've ever had is created by the Chef's at Wasa.

Don't miss the "treasures" comb which will make you think your at Matsahitsa in LA.
