Vegetarian Bowl - Not Vegetarian.
I am sorry to say I didn't get a chance to taste the food at Chin Chin. I saw on the menu "Vegetarian Bowl" and got pretty excited. Then when I asked the very friendly cashier if the rice and veggies were made with chicken stock, she said, "Yes." So...the "Vegetarian" items aren't really vegetarian.
She offered to have the cook prepare the food with just water. I chose to pass since plain steamed veggies wasn't what I was looking for.
The little bit of interaction I had with the staff was good. She was honest and was willing to accommodate special requests.
I just wish if the menu says "vegetarian" that it really is vegetarian, not just a vegetable dish made with meat stock.

Impressive Quality For Casual Fast Chinese Food.
The "Pei Wei" spin off or possibly vice versa, irregardless Cafe Chin Chin is the better of the two. Great tasting Chinese food seems to be the standard here. I tried it once and not a week went by before I returned for more. The Mongolian Beef is a good choice and Spring Rolls are a nice start , being freshly made and filled with a delicious mix of veggies. Being an admitted Kung Pao Chicken fan, I give them high marks for this delicious entree. Finally a place that makes Kung Pao the right way in Orange County. The atmosphere tries to be trendy and hip, but more important its comfortable. If you're in a rush the service is fast or even better get the food to-go.
