Nice bar, but super small!. I found Detroit Bar through some of my friends who live in the area. Apparently it's a local hangout spot. They play good music and serve good drinks. I like the fact that this bar is pretty much a hole in the wall. if you don't know where it is, you probably will miss it passing by.

I don't think I will go back to this place again for one major reason: the place is so small you can barely move. It gets very uncomfortable at some point and you just wanna get the hell out of there. But overall, if you're into small spaces, this is the bar for you!

I'm giving them four stars because I have nothing to complain about except the extremely small space.

Awesome. I was hoping that it would have a detroit vibe to it, but no its just a bar named detroit.. which is pretty cool though

Detroit Bar is Okay. Detroit Bar is okay for a local place. They play some really good music on Saturday nights (lots of progressive house, trance, hip hop etc), lots of friendly folks, good vibes. The one thing is everyone is YOUNG. I mean, I'm 23, but still, I mean young like they looked like they just turned 21 Lol.... There are 2 different rooms to go into. It's an okay place for a local night out with your friends. Lots of people dance. THe one bad thing is the place is TINY. It's as big as a closet. So, like, if you're going there to meet guys/girls etc. it's kind of like after 5 minutes you've seen everyone you're gonna see all night! "Hey what's goin on?" Then you reject some guy or some girl then 5 seconds later they're like right next to you. You can't really disappear into the club and lose them like some bigger clubs Lol. It's kind of dumpy outside, and inside it's ok. Eh, if you have nothing better to do, go here, but don't go expecting it's gonna be like some great awesome club. Ya gotta go to LA for that. It's just a bar w/ a pretty good dance floor, but WaY small, kind of a casual atmosphere....It's kind of a place for lots of Indie kids and Scene kids to go to. THey go shop at Urban Outfitters during the day, listen to Crystal Castles on the way to work, and then go to Detroit Bar for some drinks! lol.

live music. Good place to see live music and live bands play. Very grunge and a small bar but always a good time here!

My new favorite place!. I love this place. Great music: house, trance, etc on weekdaysn and hip hop in the weekends. The atmosphere is amazing, really intimate. Not a huge fan of the $10 cover charge though..they should change it to $5. but nevertheless I loved going here. prices on the drinks are fair. hot bartenders. good vibe!

Great Music scene, bit pricy. good music, check it out if you like house, trance, or live music

i think it has funny comedians too.
