Great School. I am currently attending CAOB and I personally think that its a great school. I feel like I am learning a lot and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The school is not as expensive as other schools that I looked into. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone interested in a future in cosmetology.

best school in orange county. The Career Academy of Beauty is the best beauty school in Orange County. It is so afforable and the staff is professional and know how to teach in a way that is fun for everyone. if you are interested in cosmetology, being an Esthetician or even being a manicurist check them out at caofb,com

I know first hand.... The staff treat the students at this school with complete and utter disregard. The are talked down to in front of clients. The receptionists (especially the one during the day) does not know how to properly book appointments causing mix ups and wrong appointments. The receptionists bark at the students. The facilities are very aged looking and are falling apart. They have ran out of color more than once when I was there. The woman who orders their supplies is EXTREMELY rude and obnxious to the students, again, in front of clients.

I will not go back to this place and do not recommend it to anyone.

They should be paying you to go here. For a school, this place sets a very bad example. Even with an appointment; there is no guarantee you will be seen that day at all. I was checking in for a facial while several women (that had made hair appointments) were told they could not be seen that day, due to over-booking.

When I finally was called in for my facial, (20 minutes past my appointment time)the girl said she hadn't gotten the correct supplies and walked out of the room as I was changing. She then walked back in the room while I was undressed to grab something. As soon as the facial began, she realized there was something else missing and left again. This continued through every step of the facial, leaving the room to get supplies and often times saying we would have to skip a step because the lady who keeps the supplies locked was outside smoking.

I didn't even know when the facial was over, the girl just left the room and didn't return. And don't expect a refund or discount. You pay for the service before receiving anything and all sales are final. Pay a little more and go to a salon where you will get a real facial treatment.

Best School in Orange county. Alexis was amazing. They train students well. I have had better treatments here than spas! Of course it's slower, you might have to wait, and you aren't in a private room, but they use all the expensive products and thats what my skin needs, not the fluff. Nice people! Best facials in the OC. I am going back for a pumpkin peel next time
