In Short – Opened by Korn drummer David Silveria, the restaurant's claim of being a rock-and-roll sushi bar is accurate. The dark-red memorabilia-filled walls, low lighting, mud flap-worthy mermaid logo and booming hard-rock music create a nightclub feel. Choose a teppanyaki grill table, where meat, rice and veggies are chopped and stir-fried right before you by showy chefs. Or go the sushi route and sample unique rolls like tuna Juju Taki, which arrives engulfed in flames.
Not the worst, and not the Best

I've eaten at this place twice. The first time was at the sushi bar. The service was good, but it wasn't busy at the time. The sushi was just ok, and its overpriced for what you get.
The second time I was at a table. The service was the slowest I've ever had. We waited 15 to 20 minutes to be greated at the table, and it wasn't even busy. Never saw the server after she took our order.
I love sushi and I will not be going back to this place. The price is just too much for what you get.
- Pros: atmosphere
- Cons: quality for the price

Do NOT miss this place next time you're in Huntington Beach. If you know what I mean when I say ADIDAS, Evolution, and/or Korn, you need to check out Tuna Town on Main. If not, try it anyway because it's my new hangout and i'll be coming here often.
I love the small, non-chain sushi joints that have Teppan Tables!! Super dark, great sushi and presentation, and the sushi chefs had a great personality. The service was so good that I don't even remember what our server looked like! My food & drinks just appeared and the server would scoot away and left us to socialize!
We sat at a table but next time, i'm going to sit in one of their dark loungy circular booths for more privacy! I will have to update my review once i try more of their food, but my friends said it was delish.
Practically 10 steps from the beach...gotta love it!
Decent place

I read the reviews on here before I went and expected a nightmare. Went on a Sunday right after Tuna Town opened at 5:00pm. The place was pretty much empty. Sure the music was loud but I could still talk and hear from my companion. The food was okay and it didn't take forever for beer and food to come. But it wasn't packed either. I asked if the owner David ever comes in and it seems he does but its rare.
I wanted to eat at his other place Silvera Steakhouse because sushi isn't really my thing, to my surprise the steak house wasn't open for business when it was supposed to.
So Tuna town does have a great atmosphere and vibe, food is expensive its in a trendy area.
David get your behind back in Korn you quit to run these 2 places and from the looks of it, the steak house out of business and these reviews(besides the obvious planeted stories you wrote yourself with glowing reviews) since you quit Korn show on average Tuna Town is run like krap on a busy night, so just let it continue to be run like terribly and get back to drumming Here To Stay.
- Pros: Famous guy owns it, unique setting
- Cons: expensive
