Best Doctor in Orange County!.
Dr. DeNicola and has staff are so kind! The office is very well designed and state of the art. The one thing I have noticed that they have that I have not seen anywhere else is their service called "Mouse Calls". I have seen other doctors offer some weak form of online check in or email service but this truly is different.
I literally emailed Dr. DeNicola 10 times in the matter of a week and he found a way to respond super quickly (sometimes within the hour) and at all times of day. It is so nice to be able to ask a doctor a question like "Can my wife take tylenol while she is pregnant?" or just checking in and giving an update to how I am reacting to antibiotics. He really does take his clients and his career seriously. I can't possibly give them a better review and will be using him for my families entire medical needs.
Progressive Medical Care in Laguna Beach. Dr. DeNicola has been my personal physician for many years. I try to make appointments on the days he's there, although the other doctors on duty are also very good. He has responded quickly to my urgent medical needs, including obtaining necessary referrals. The concept of offering multiple services including RX at the office and internet "Mouse Calls" has made the experience much more convenient. One stop medical care...a very progressive concept.
Terrific Service. I have been a patient for almost ten years now and have been very impressed with their service, friendly accomodating staff, and ease of scheduling appointments. Now they have an online tool that allows you refill precriptions without having to make an appointment or to call them while they are attending to patients. The turn around time for a response was fast (< 1 hour)and they called my pharmacy and the pharmacy had my refill when I got off of work that day. I highly recommend this outstanding medical group!
Old Time Service with Modern twist. I have been with Dr. De Nicola and his office for several years now. I am always amazed at the attentive care I receive. I moved my sons and than recently my husband over too and they have all been amazed at the difference in the staff and care. We are no longer just a number. Caduceus and Dr. D care! Novel thought in todays' HMO world.
Need Child Or Specialist Care GO ELSE WHERE. I have been a patient at Caduceus Medical Group for 1 year. I receive good primary care however I have waited over an hour past my appointment time to see the cariologist. When the cariologist re-scheduled me for a trend mill test he failed to tell me to stop a medication I was on so the next visit was a waste of time and couldn't me performed (45 min). My 1st visit to pediatrics urgernt care was a 1 1/2 wait with only my child and another waiting. Once I took my child for a follow up visit and left after 20 minutes past our appointment time never being seen by a doctor. My last visit left me with a reaction to antibotics and out of work for 4 days. Sorry I have to work so my child will go to school sick.

Personalble, Caring,Concerned, Immediate Care!. My sons insurance changed and I had to find a new Medical Group for him. Caduceus was on the list. When we arrived we were greeted with happy pleasant front office staff. (So many other local medical groups are not so pleasant, they act like they are so stressed out and like you are bothering them.) BUT NOT this group!!! We got right in after only a few minutes and the back office staff was as kind, happy and helpful as the front. Dr. Denicola was so wonderful, very knowledgable and kind. He put my son at ease. My son is autistic and gets very anxious with change, however Dr. Denicola was very successful at diffusing any anxieties that he had. Dr. spent time with us and made us feel very cared for and comfortable. On other occassions we have had to use the walk in route and that has been absolutely wonderful too! It's such a joy to be able to walk in and be seen the same day and not have to wait all day to be seen!!! Dr. DeNicolas Associate Dr. Penkoff was as equally wonderful! They have this great website and online concierge service where you can make appts by computer. I called this past Saturday becasue I discovered something that need Dr. DeNicolas attention for my son. To my great surprise, I got a phone call from them a couple hours later checking up on him and offering an appt for Monday afternoon! They also have a thing called Mouse calls where you can contact your Dr. with any medical related issues or questions you need anwsers to. I have also needed to use this a couple times, Dr. DeNicola has always gotten back to me via email or called when neccessary right away within a timely matter. The other group we used to use, would never call back for several days!!! This has been such a wonderful suprise, my sons medical care is in wonderful, caring, compassionate, experienced hands with Dr. DeNicola and his staff! I can't say enough about them!
Not Patient Focused.
I've been in this HMO group for more than 5 years. The staff is friendly, but not very patient focused. Two examples:
1. I broke my wrist and had it temporarily set in the emergency room on a Sunday. As instructed by the ER doctor, I called my Dr the next day. I called repeatedly starting at 8am. Never got a return call. Finally reached someone at 2:30pm and was informed that their orthopedic doctor had just left. Only choice was to get an appointment in one week, and they wouldn't refer me to anyone else.
2. Scheduled a physical. The appointment has been rescheduled twice. It has been over two months since I scheduled the original appointment and am still waiting.
If you want personal care from an MD, you should carefully evaluate this practice.

Outstanding patient service. Dr. DeNicola recently opened the Caduceus Medical Group just down the street from me (lucky me). The office policies & procedures are so novel and patient-oriented. You can get same-day appointments and even walk in without one and be seen by someone. There are extended hours (even open on Saturday), they host a wealth of information on their website (you can download forms before your appt or even make an appt online). You can even email a question to your doctor through their website. The office staff were clearly hired because they are genuinely nice and helpful people (beyond just being qualified). These folks treat you like your time is valuable (though I never feel rushed). I don't know why all Medical Offices aren't run this way, but I'm sure glad this one is.
Superior Service. This is by far better than any others I've been to. Dr DeNicola was hellpful and all PA's/Staff were very friendly and professional. Awesome staff. Went out of their way to make me feel at home and comfortable. Very modern and clean offices.
Dr. Denicola has been our physician, myself, my wife, and my two children (they are upper teenagers now) for 12 years.
I am in the medical field and know a lot of physicians. Dr. Denicola stands way above the rest. His attention to his patients, his smile, his simplicity, his knowledge supersedes any other physician I have ever met.
We thank God for Dr. Denicola. We look forward to having him care for us for a long time.
