Best Pizza outside of the Big Apple. If you want true New york style pizza in southern California, Mammalucco's is the only place to eat. Everything at Mammalucco's is true to New York style pizza. The closet to NY style outside of the big Apple. I have eaten at many so called NY style pizza places and nothing compares to Mammalucc's. If you are looking for a taste of NY and do not want to travel to the big apple Mammalucco's the spot. Order up two slices of pepperoni and you will like your in the city of Manhatten. Even Boston fans will agree NY is the best for pizza. Enjoy

I AM HOOKED!. Ever since I tried their New York style pizza, I have been hooked! I have been going back at least once, sometimes twice, a week. You are always greeted warmly when you come in and the service is always good. But it is not just the pizza, everything is good and made of the highest quality ingredients. Give Mammalucco's a try, you will be glad you did!

Mammalucco's is the real deal!. Since discovering Mammalucco's earlier this year, there isn't a week that goes by that we don't either eat there or take home food. The pizza is the best pizza we have had in twenty years of living on the West Coast, we are ex-New Yorkers and Mammalucco's has satisfied our craving for GOOD New York Pizza. We can't seem to get enough of it, we have loved everything that we have tried. The service is great and John, the owner, makes you feel right at home. We highly recommend Mammalucco's it really is the real deal!

Best pizza outside of New York. Since moving to the west coast 40 years ago, I've never been able to find the same taste in pizza as I had in New York when I was in high school, until I tried Mammalucco's. When I bit into their cheese pizza, old time memories of this one-of-a kind taste came back. Find out what a real authentic New York pizza tastes like at Mammalucco's.

The last pizza you'll ever eat.... I have been a paisan stuck in california all my life...so i have never had the chance to taste real brooklyn pizza...but i have had pizza all over cali and i will say that mamalucco's is a slice above the rest...all it takes is one trip to mamalucco's and you'll be hooked...just as i was...trust me...walk in, say "how ya doin" to john and "gimme a slice of cheese"...sit down in the small but well decorated dining room and enjoy...remember not to sit too far from the counter at lunch, because you will be going back for a second and third slice. i only wish i lived in the area so i could visit more often...my office is in brea and mamalucco's is our lunch destination at least twice a week. speaking of lunch...if you visit during lunch and the "vinnie no neck" is on display...order it.

The Best Pizza west of Brooklyn N.Y.. Mamma Mia, what can I tell you, finding Mammalucco"s was like a dream come true for me. I'm from Brooklyn, N.Y. and I'm Italian. I have been in Southern Califorina most of my adult life and I have searched high and low looking for good old fashion Italian (Brooklyn) pizza. The search is over.

Mammalucco"s is the place. John knows how to please with his great food, friendly atmostphere, and best of all the "PIZZA". Trust me there is nothing like it out here (just pretenders). If you like Great Pizza try it, you'll love it. Go in and ask for a slice, tell them Steve sent you. Now I gotta go because I just got the urge for a pizza, see ya there.

OUTSTANDING ITALIAN FOOD. My husband is from Brooklyn and for many years he has tried to find Brooklyn style pizza. For his recent birthday I went on an exhausted search for "Brooklyn pizza". To our families delight we found John and his outstanding restaruant Mammalucco's. Know matter where you are from or what ancestory you have, if you like italian food, this will be number one on your list of "OUTSTANDING" restaurants. Pricing is reasonable so you can feed an entire family and not break the budget. We have become so excited about the food and the owner, who is completely hands on, that we have told everyone we can so they can enjoy the experience also. By making the choice to take your friends and family to Mammalucco's you will be commended by all.

You will get the feeling of walking into someone's home. By this I mean, come in eat, drink, laugh and never feel rushed.

Mammalucco's is the Real Deal! They Have the Best Pizza in California. Tasting is believing and trust me on this critique of Mammalucco's Pizza. It is the best in all of California, and they would be at the top even with those from NY. I'm a paisan and I'm from NY and Mammalucco's is the real deal!!!

Great Food; Friendly Service; Easy on the Walet and FUN!!!. I agree with the many people who say the food is authentic N.Y. style, but the place also has a comfortable neighborhood feel and a romance all its own. My favorite slices are the cheese(of course) and their stuffed version called "Vinnie No Neck"!! Its great for the family or a romantic first date (watch that the owner doesn't steal your girlfriend!)

So if you cry when you hear "New York, New York" or your looking for a place to take Lindsey Lohan, ya gona luv da place!

P.S. Top Secret; Vino is half-price on Wednesday!

Best pizza in Southen California!. Take it from me, an Italian guy from Da Bronx, NY, this is the only place in Orange County, Californai to eat pizza. The pizza everwhere else in the OC pales greatly in comparison.

All of the other Italian food served at Mammalucco's is also excellent, better than any Italian restaurant in the area. The food tastes excellent and is authentically Italian. The meatballs at Mammalucco's are the best any any restaurant, even NYC. I must state that because meatball are very important!!

The restaurant has the feel of a true Italian pizza retaurant of NYC and the people who own and work at Mammalucco's are geniunely warm and friendly.
