Choose a different company for your skincare needs. American Laser Skincare is one of the worst places I have been to for any kind of treatments. Customer service is horrible once you have signed a contract. Before you sign a contract, they are super nice to you. Once you have, they try to rush you out of your appointments, do the minimum possible of work that you need done, all the while trying to sell you more products and services.

The person who "works" on me, is always trying to upsell even after I have made it clear that I don't want to purchase anymore.

I'm super unhappy with this company (I have been to their other locations and it's the same there). I just can't wait to finish my contract with them and never look back!

Do yourself a favor and skip this place, I'm sure there are other places that are much better than these guys.

Lied and Cheated to make their money. BEWARE!. If I could give this place a zero, I would have. Do not give any of your business to this crooked business. I was promised a refund for months on a package that was never used. When no refund came, I disputed the charges with my credit card company. This awful place blatantly lied about what was told to me. They are trying to cheat to make their money. Do not allow yourself to be one of their victims. What a waste of my time. I plan to take this to the BBB. It is just horrible how a business could blatantly lie about what they promised a customer.

Bad Customer Service. Their customer service is good when you are paying full price for their packages but if they have an opportunity to rip you off they will take advantage of you before you can blink! And if you have any problems whatsoever, management (Jamelia) is NOT customer service oriented.

After my package treatments where finished my contract includes $50 maintenance sessions for each 30 min. The manager, in order to squeeze as much money out of me as possible, limited me to two areas for these treatments (even though 2 areas only takes 15 minutes). I have had two of these done and each treatment lasted only 15 minutes even though I paid for 30 minutes! When I asked for the full 30 minutes (which would include two more areas) the manager made up reasons for why they couldn't fulfill their side of the contract even saying among other things that I need to factor in the time it takes for them to do the paperwork after I leave (which is not true). The manager then said the next time I come in she would be sure I spent 30 minutes in the room, implying that she would count the time she makes me wait around in the room as part of my treatment time.

I could go on and on since I'm not even scratching the surface of the amount of problems I have had, but the bottom line is that me and 2 of my friends I referred are currently working with the regional manager to work through this mess. I just wish the managers in this clinic were more customer service oriented. At this point in time I wouldn't recommend others to use their services.

BTW, I paid $825 total for 6 treatments of lip, chin, under arm, and Brazilian bikini with 1 free maintenance session and $50 for each maintenance session thereafter. Don't do the 2 year package if you can help it since they keep adding weeks between your treatments the further along you get (which they don't tell you). I thought I'd provide this info to help others negotiate since they have tried to suck my dry of money.

American Laser Centers-Irvine. I love the Irvine branch of the American Laser Centers.The staff is great and I use the same people for my treatments each time and really trust and like them. The atmosphere is very relaxing and professional. I have been getting laser hair removal,microderm treatments and E-Matrix treatments and haven't had any problems whatsoever,and I have dark skin which can sometimes be harder to treat. The manager Kayla is great and she doesn't use high pressure tactics to try and sign you up.

STAY AWAY!!! Terrible terrible, just read reviews on google!. I got burned terribly. The women doing the treatment was careless, unprofessional, and rude. Please stay away. American Laser Centers are a scam!

Please Stay Away!. The staff is unprofessional and obviously unskilled because I have been burned more ways than one! They tell you when you're signing up that a doctor comes around the office from time to time which is partly true. The "doctor" is a business owner who does not see patients! I was physically burned at my last session and when I asked to see the doctor, I was told that that would have to "call me back" with a doctor referral because they don't have a doctor in their office!

Excellent Service. I've never had a problem with the Irvine location of American Laser Center. They explained the terms of the treatment and how it would work and how long it would take to see results, plus they have a two year guarantee, so now over a year later, I am still getting treatment for my original cost. The staff is nice, they are competent, and they are very quick at getting you into your consultation each time. The treatment is every seven weeks and you can even make appointments months in advance for Saturdays which is convenient for a lot of people. They do not con you out of your money, and they are genuinely there to help and explain everything to you. Also, they ask along the way if the laser is too strong for you so that they can turn the intensity down to not hurt your skin. They do ask if you are on antibiotics or if you have been tanning, so that they do not damage your skin and reschedule the appointment. This is a wonderful center to go to and feel comfortable with the treatment that they offer.
