Best Massage in Town – Great Club! The staff is friendly and the workout room is fantastic. I recommend this place to everyone. The locker room is stocked with everything from razors to socks...Best place to relax
Beautiful Spa..Nice people – This place is great...stumbled on it while shopping at South Coast Plaza. The people are genuine..it's not stuffy but still luxurious
More concerned with making money than providing excellent customer care – I have been going to this spa for several years for facials and massages, but the service has consistently declined. While the atmosphere is lovely, the quality of the services leaves something to be desired. Their cancellation policy is much too rigid: if you cancel in under 24 hours, you will be charged a fee, even if you are having a medical emergency and are at the ER! It's not worth it. Take your business elsewhere--I know I will.
Service Anything but First Class – We have been frequent customers to the Spa for several years. Over the past few months, the quality of the massages have waned. Only two of my past four massages have been "best of" quality. Emily C. was friendly, but her massage was weak and she was not able to adjust pressure at all. Additionally, my mom received a massage in early November with Victoria V. that left her with a golf ball size knot in her neck and a bruise for a couple of weeks. Victoria shrugged it off as normal.
Finally, my mom, sister & I were all scheduled for massages for Christmas. As we were on the way to get them, we had to check my mom into the emergency room because she fainted twice in two minutes (for the first time in her life). When I called to cancel the appointments because the hospital admitted my mom for testing, I was told that the 24 hour cancellation fee would not be waived for two out of three massages because they weren't able to fill the other appointments on such short notice. I called back to speak to the manager, Debbie Castillo. After several minutes of talking & explaining the situation, she agreed to charge us only 50% of the cost of the other two. I let her know that I was dissappointed in the solution for a true emergency (she wouldn't even give us a credit) and she offered 3 passes to use the facilities.
Though slightly more expensive, I have had much better service and consistently better treatments at both Burke Williams in Mission Viejo and the Hyatt in Huntington Beach.
Beautiful Place, Shower Frangrances are Awesome! – This place is great. It's a little busy on the weekends...sometimes the lounge is packed. But the service is always the same...The self-serve tea bar is my favorite
Phenomenal place. – I had the best MOther's Day ever! THank you guys. My husband bought me a $300 to splurge, we have a 6month old, and I would have never indulged that much. But I am so glad he did. I had a great facial with Nelida, Hot Stone Therapy and spent a beautiful relaxing day by the pool. The "THanks Mom" snacks and mimosas were such a classy touch. I'll be back.
Superior Health Club – I have been a member for 2 years. Thank for being the perfect hidden retreat. Great Trainers: Dave, Lisa, Priscilla
Massage: Kathie, Martha, Sherry
Luxurious spa with first-class service--there's more than one Fantasyland in Orange County. – The Scene
The smooth stones of the freestanding beige structure promise a soothing refuge from the bustling Costa Mesa business district. Inside, the comfortable elegance continues with plush divans, gorgeous floral displays and swirling marble floors. A steady flow of business folk and suburbanites is coddled by a coterie of discreet staffers.
Tone up in the fully equipped gym or saltwater pool and then unwind in the stone whirlpool, eucalyptus-infused steam room or luxurious marble showers. For a more laid-back approach to relaxation, choose from an array of massage services, including reflexology and a hot stone rubdown. Can't decide? Opt for the individualized signature massage, a 50- or 80-minute session that combines deep tissue, Swedish and pressure-point therapies. For something different, try an ayurvedic treatment: This ancient Indian technique uses herbs and essential oils to restore health and beauty, and can enhance skin, hair and nail services.
New Member – I love this place. You guys are just great. Props to membership, friendly staff, and great work out equipment. Very unique
Classic Style with traditional experience – I haven't been to a spa in while that meets the level of this one. Everyone over hypes the "new therapies" and prices them in the clouds. This spa offers a great variety of services while giving consistent expertise in the classis spa massage. I've paid $75-$200 for an hour massage and this is the only spa that is worth it every time. The Signature Massage is perfect, and inexpensive...and you always know you're going to get a great massage.
