Not to great service. My Friend and I went to Disneyland on Vacation and the people told us that the hotel was right across the street and when we got there we had to walk all the way around the park because yes the park is in front of the hotel but there is no entrance there. On are second day there we had planed to go to the Block of Orange so we went to lobby and we were suppose to wait for the guy who new all about that stuff but instead another lady said she would help us. We thought she new what she was talking about so we paid 6 bucks for are bus tickets and walked all the way to the califonia hotel where she said the bus would be. When we got there the people didnt know what we were talked about and told us that there was no bus. We walked around for 30 min trying to ask the hotel if they new anything and found out we had to go in front of the park! At that point we were really mad and walked all the way bakc to the front of the park then and sat and waited for are bus. 30 more min went by and we asked another bus driver who told us that are bus wouldbe be coming for another 30 min! The bus ran every hour and the anabella lady told us it came every 30 min. Also the guy told us at 1 was the last bus to go over to the mall and it was 12:30. So we were really mad that we had wasted about 2 hours of are day running around trying to find the right bus and wasted 6 bucks on the tickets. So we went back to the hotel and complained. The guy that was there Danny was SO NICE! he got us a free limo to pick us up from the hotel and call them when ever we were ready to come back from the mall. So after all of that it wasnt to bad because we got the free limo but the hotel still isent the best place to stay.
We won't stay here again..
Before heading down to the hotel, I called that morning to check to see if we can have an early check in. After speaking with the Front desk, they didn't have me on the system. I gave my confirmation # and still nothing showed up. I was then transferred to reservations. It turns out that my call to change our reservations was NOT recorded. The computer still had us for the original dates. Therefore, we were recorded as "no-shows". They were willing to give us a new reservation starting that Saturday. I asked if they can give us an upgrade. They agreed.
My wife called and she spoke to one of the reservation representative and told them of what happened. She asked for the manager, but the representative didn?t forward her. He actually scolded her saying that they gave us an upgrade even though they didn?t have to. Maybe, but they after all messed up our reservation.
The room we got was not as big as it looked online.The top cover of the bed had a ripped section and we requested for the hotel to change it. There was a red stain on the carpet next to the bed. The room didn?t have a tub, but a shower. There was no light in the shower and when you close the curtain, it was really dark inside. They didn't have a small ledge or shower caddy for the soap and shampoo. I had to place them on the floor. The drain backed up and drained slowly. So by the end of the shower, you were standing in about 1 inch of bath water.
The closet door was in an awkward position. The folding doors of the closet only left a 1 ? of clearance to enter. Lastly, the bed was not comfortable at all, but hard. The pillows were lumpy and hard as well. I woke up with a sore back.
My wife and I will not be coming back to this motel.
