Better than the Spectrum, but...

Though the Block is leaps and bounds ahead of the Irvine Spectrum, it's rating is hurt by being in a sketchy area of town. Call it the Magic Mountain of outdoor malls, if you will.

When to Go:
The mall gets crowded late in the day. To snag better parking and avoid the crowds, arrive before 1pm. Early birds also get first choice on sale items. The lines for restaurants and movies are minimal before 5 pm.
