One of the best places in the OC. I love this place!!! I dine at Britta's for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Food is always amazing and very fresh! It is an Orange County Gem ... I have seen Britta shopping at the Farmer's Market for her food!!! Wow! Almost every time I am there she will stop by and say"HI"!

Let's see .. I love the Benedicts, pancakes with a side of bacon and homemade granola for breakfast. Ohhhh and Huevos Rancheros! Lunch ... BBQ Pork and Monte Cristo - best Caesar Salad! Dinner .... Best Roasted Chicken. Pork Tenderloin with spatzel and Hanger Steak. Great wine list- very unique. Prices are very reasonable ... High recommend for people that know and love food.

Great Organic Cuisine coupled with excellent service.. I have been a customer of Britta's cafe since she was in Balboa. Britta is OC's answer to Chez Panisse and Alice Waters in Berkeley, she uses only the freshest ingredients and really understands flavor and cooking techniques. Her service staff and management are very attentive and personable, they always make me feel at home. Britta also hosts special wine dinners and has a book clus that rocks!!

I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent food and service.

overpriced food. Live in the area and decided to give it a whirl for Sunday brunch, definitely dissappointed. Breakfast plates were quite pricey. I just got 2 eggs and ham (comes with a small portion of breakfast potatoes) for $10, and I have to say that was definitely on the low side of the menu, went up to $16ish for breakfast plates. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I thought it wasn't worth the money at all. Eggs were decently cooked, ham was thick cut which I liked, but salty, and breakfast potatoes were tasteless. Boyfriend got the pancakes I think for $8 which were nice and fluffy but just really tasteless. If the prices weren't so steep, I would recommend a trip, but as for me, I didn't think it was worth it and won't be going. If you're looking for Sunday brunch, I would recommend Cafe R&D. Prices are comparable but the food is SO much better and definitely worth it.
