An hour and a half for our bill, then our money thrown at us.
Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE!
We went for our friends birthday so there was a big party. They refused to add on another table with the rest of our group so 6 of us agreed we would sit apart from our group. We were friendly to our server but when it came to getting our bill and paying for our meal it took forever. From the time we got our bill till the time we left it overall took an hour and a half. The waitress, SARAH W. then added on 17% gratuity (added to parties of 10 or more) to our bill even though our party was only of 6. The manager was rude as well. When we finally got our money back the waitress she basically threw it on the table, gave us a dirty look and just walked away.
I am wondering if anyone at BJ's went to school or was informed about CUSTOMER SERVICE was because it was BAD.…
Great Place!!. When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deliver a great meal that I really enjoyed, only the portion was so small that I left feeling hungry still. The price wasn't worth the meal. However, the ambiance is very nice…
BJ. Half Sandwich & Soup or Salad Lunch Special is quite a deal
Pretty fun place to hang. BJs is always a great place to hang out. I love the pazuki (not sure if I spelled it right). I still prefer Dave and Busters though.
A Weak Link In An Otherwise Good Chain.
Before I lay into this particular BJ's, let me say that I've frequented the BJ's in Balboa for several years and have nothing but good things to say about that location.
That said, I have been to this location a couple times and each time the quality of food is lower than the other locations and wait times are sometimes slightly longer than expected.
I have visited this location for the last time as I received what I consider to be some of the worst hosting service I've ever had and food that was truly sub-par.
I had a party of 8 who were meeting at the location. Upon notification that the rest of my party was going to be late, I informed the hostesses and was told that our group would be placed in the back of the line, which is only fair.
What is not fair, is that when I informed them that there would be one additional party member, they said that was fine, and had no other input or commentary on the matter. 45 minutes later I inquired as to the status of our wait time and was told that because we had another member added, that our names had been taken completely out of the list for tables and that we would be placed back at the end of the line again.
After my two hour wait for a table, we were ready to be seated. Two party members ordered wedge salads which were far below the quality of those served in other BJ's locations, the waiter got one of the drinks wrong, and another party members dinner arrived 10 minutes after everyone elses.
I will not visit this location again.…
