Staff was so nice and helpful, even let me take it home and try out to make sure it worked for us. We were so happy my wife went over to jewelry dept and found a ring for her 25th wedding anniversary. The managers were very accomadating to our needs. This is the only place I would buy furniture and jewelry, great prices and nice people!
Don't Sell Here. IF YOU'RE SELLING, BE CAREFUL. This may be a good idea for buyers, but my experience as a seller was less than satisfactory. I had them sell an antique piece in great condition. After the first week when it didn't sell, they wanted a price reduction. After the second week they wanted to slash the price. By the time you pay the pick up fee and their percentage, I ended up with $75 on A PIECE I PURCHASED FROM THEM FOR $1,700. If an item doesn't sell right away, they pressure you to drastically cut your price. They don't have a lot of space and they want to keep their merchandise moving. This will put you at a significant disadvantage if your item doesn't sell right away.
Good deals on nice furniture.. They pack in a lot of furniture, so don't expect nice displays etc. But if you want good prices on some good quality furniture give them a try. You may have to go back many times to find something you like, (That's the used furniture business). We found a sideboard and dining set with 6 chairs from the 1930's beautifuly figured veneer over solid wood. The whole set for less than $600 bucks. The antique shops in Orange would have charged 2 grand for those peices.
Don't Leave Your Furniture Here. This place is horrible. There is no place to walk inside the store, because it is so packed with furniture. This should have been an indication of the care they have for other people's furniture, but I had to learn the hard way. I tried having them sell our mirror and every time we went in our mirror was hidden behind bigger furniture and there was no way anyone could have gotten a good look at it. When my wife and I went to get it back after five months, one of the employees started dragging our mirror across the concrete floor trying to get it to our car. My wife quickly stopped him and he said "How else am I going to get it out?" . The manager's explanation to me was that it was closing time and everyone was in a hurry to leave. Our mirror is in worse shape than when we brought it in originally. I would not recommend anyone leaving their furniture there. I regret doing it .
AVOID!! HORRIBLE. They took my beautiful furniture, crammed it in a spot where it could not be viewed, piled stuff on top of it and then, gave me attitude about the fact that it did not sell. I pulled my furniture out and it was scratched, scuffed and dinged! I would not recommed them for purchase or consignment.
