See THROWBACKS. Unfortunately this Sugars is quite defunct. Brad tried and Clive made a go of it, but the entity currently occupying this space is THROWBACKS. For hot Sugar's bikini action it's necessary to go to 405 S. Brookhurst Street and see Lil' Shannon or Christina.

Location and music calendar are strong points.... First, don't compare this place to the other Sugar's establishments in the OC (on Brookhurst Street in Anaheim and Garden Grove both). Those are dive bars, while this one is clean and hospitable. They're big on sports here, with four screens behind the bar and more throughout the room. They have at least a dozen beers on tap, and a couple of dozen more available by the bottle; but they aren't licensed for liquor at this time. They have a great calendar of music events: check out the website (sugarsbikinisportsbar) for what's coming and when. There is an Internet jukebox for those times there's no band or deejay. One problem is that they run lean, with only one or two servers most of the time: you could find yourself waiting awhile for a refill if the place is busy. As you can probably guess, the serving staff is very easy on the eyes. Most of them are really fun to talk with, but be careful with Lisa: this 'work in progress' has a thin skin and scares easily.
