Great fresh sushi at a very reasonable price.
I love this place. The people (servers, chefs) are so incredibly warm and friendly. So much so that I think nothing of going in there to dine by myself. I often make new friends with the regulars that seem to be ever present. I also see quite a few families with children there. The sushi is top notch and very fresh and is a great, great value for the money.
We went on Sunday, June 27. This place is now named Kitajima. Food was good. Big sushi bar with three sushi chefs. This place has been here forever, but this was my first time. I guess the name didn't attract me. The slices of fish were larger than I'm accustomed to. Lots of regulars there. That tells you something right away. There is a teppan section in the back. Price was very reasonable. I was expecting a bill of about $20 more than I received!
