Editorial Review for Junkman's Daughter – by Citysearch Editors
The Scene
This Little Five Points gem is an emporium of hipster clothing and pop-culture tchotchkes. The store is of warehouse proportions, including a shoe loft, so plan time to browse.
The Goods
Brand-new threads, cool vintage and, yes, a little bit of junk. You can update your collection of Elvis paraphernalia, put together the perfect Halloween costume and find an outfit for the evening all in one store. Clothes and shoes tend toward the more vivid side of fashion, and they range from casual to club. Gift ideas are endless: brass statuettes, candles, cookbooks, leather sundries or any small, plastic object that memorializes the latest cult-classic film.

Insider Tips
Know Before You GoMost of the items are reasonable, but the clothing may be more expensive than you'd expect. And choose well--the return policy is strict.

While they do have some unique items, they are definately lacking on the smoking accessories and are way overpriced on just about everything. To top it off, they treat customers rudely (and like shoplifters) and act like they could care less about their business. There are other stores in the area that sell similar items, and if you're looking for nice glass and smoking accessories, go to Smoke 911 in Sandy Springs. They have the best selection of glass (RooR, locally blown pipes, vapes, etc) and definately the best prices in Atlanta.
Pros: Big store, so pretty good selection of clothing/shoes
Cons: Way overpriced, poor customer service, and weak selection of smoking accessories

I can see where people might find the staff rude, but I've always found them hilarious. They're sarcastic to a T, and as long as they're not already helping someone else, they've been there if I need them to reach something high up or let me into a dressing room. The wig guy is freaking awesome, and although I had limited wig experience, he explained all that I needed to know about keeping my hair secure and taking care of the wig. The shoe people rock; plus: HOT boots can be as cheap as ten dollars! My only problem is the homeless people who hang out in the back by parking; they can be a little disarming.
Pros: Cheap shoes, quality wigs, funny staff
Cons: homeless in the parking lot, sometimes a weird geek-like smell
