I went to Kelly's closet in April of 2007. I went in with an appointment, but there was a "bridezilla" in there needing everyone's opinion and attention. Kelly told me to look around and grab a few things off the shelves to try on. I saw the perfect dress, tried it on, bought it within 20 minutes and left. I am not the type of person that wants to be fussed over or has to be admired, so this experience was perfect for me. The only thing is that we paid a lot of money for my dress and when I was putting it on to get married, two beads fell off and by the end of the night, one strap had broken. They did have an awesome selection of dresses, pricy but awesome.

I went to Kelly's Closet on recommendation of a friend. The dresses are different from what you will find at many other more "typical" bridal salons. Unfortunately, they did not have much selection in the type of dress I was looking for - very simple, very elegant, diaphanous. The consultant I worked with was friendly but didn't strike me as being very knowledgeable. Overall, however, it was a good experience.
Pros: interesting selection of dresses, down-to-earth atmosphere
Cons: limited selection of simple, elegant dresses
