In Short – Harleys line the outside of this neighborhood tavern, which is located just a few blocks from the beach. Inside, expect a rough-edged, but casual charm, with decor ranging from a mounted deer's head to a stolen stop sign and dollar-bill covered walls. Check out the jukebox, which is fully stocked with top selections from the '60s and '70s, as reasonably priced beer fills pitchers and mason jars and peanut shells crunch underfoot.
Mother's Tavern-Mellow... yet occasionally crazy!
by scottdickinson
You never know what awaits you when you walk in. Could be just a bunch of beer swilling locals hanging on to the bar, or it could be a... couple of off duty strippers performing an impromptu strip tease, or a first time female patron performing her "mandatory" (if she decides to play along) hanging of the bra ritual. One thing you typically aren't for long is bored.
- Pros: Beer, Flashers, Women
- Cons: Parking, Cash Only, No ATM
