Take you Pontiac Vibe here!. The mechanic at the Toy Shop, Robert, is honest, skilled and really nice. He fixed an annoying misfire problem with my Pontiac Vibe (which is a Toyota Matrix that Pontiac put its name and a roof rack on). The GM dealer couldn't figure it out, Toyota dealers wouldn't touch it because it didn't say Toyota on it, and another mechanic claimed my computer chip was bad--and it would cost $1,000 to fix--and he couldn't guarantee it would fix the problem. I noticed the Toy Shop next to where I get my tires and thought I would give it a try. I am so glad I did! Robert said my computer chip was fine and scoped healthy on his scan tool--which he set to a Toyota Matrix (could be why other mechanics scoping it as a Pontiac had so much trouble!). Robert fixed the problem I had been suffering with for months by giving me a proper tune up and exchanging my off-brand spark plugs with ones that belonged in a Matrix. And the total bill was only $239--which included the diagnostics, labor, spark plugs, an oil change and air & cabin filter replacement!…

Honest and Reliable. I am very particular about who I have work on my car. It is so hard to find a car mechanic that you can fully trust. Robert is a mechanic that I can trust. He has worked on my 1997 Toyota Camry since 2002. He has always been straightforward with me, letting me know what repairs that have to be made and what repairs that can wait. I really appreciate that about him. Also, he is very aware of the high cost of repairs and tries to be cost effective in my favor.

Robert is dependable and always tries to accommodate me when possible.

My future cars will be Toyotas so I can continue to use Robert as my car mechanic.…
