Best Ever. My car was making some weird noises weeks ago so i took it down there and steve replaced the muffler for a fraction of what other shops were charging.He was very polite and fixed the problem in just a hour.

Unproffesional owner!. I don't have any problem to his work. He does a very good job...no complain of any job he did to my cars.

Just only his attitude is unproffesional...If he knows how to be patience..his business will be succesful.

I at least owe them a good review. About a year ago, the check engine light on my 1998 Chevy Prism went on and the Chevy dealer told me I needed a new catalytic converter which would set me back over $900. The car was driving fine so I passed.

Two months ago the car started hesitating greatly when accelerating so I thought the time to replace the catalytic converter may have come.

Fatansy Muffler quoted me a price about a 1/4 of the dealership and I took the car in on 7/3/09. They raised the car, removed the converter, inspected it, put it back on and told me it was fine. They said it must be an engine problem according to their scope and they did not charge me a dime.

I went home and change the spark plugs and wires and the car ran fine again.

The last time I went to Fantasy Muffler was in 1988 and they replaced a muffler for a reasonable price and I passed the smog test I previously failed.

Best Muffler Shop Ever. I've been using Fantasy Muffler for over 30 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. I've known Steve for all those 30 years. Customer satisfaction is second only to HONESTY.!!!! Fantasy Muffler has been in the same location for over 50 years and has been a family owned business. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY and will never take my business elsewhere.

Will go back for ALL my vehicles as long as he is in business. Call first if you need somehitng exotic.. I recently had a HIGH end performance Big Block V8 built for my classic, and my builder recommended Steve by name. Steve did the work on his cars as well. I had NO politeness issues, the only issue I had was that he didnt stock my exact muffler, and it took 2 or 3 days to get them. Exhaust is IMMACULATE, perfect in every way. I have other project to go to him later on as well. Also, I showed my father the work Steve did, and he took his Mustang down and had his exhaust done as well, and it is also great.

Dont know how you had such a rough time with him, but even if you did catch Steve on a VERY bad day, he still does exemplary work.

This business used profanity towards me on the phone. I would strongly reccomend NOT USING THIS COMPANY.. Fantasy Muffler in Buena Park used profanity on the phone with me after telling me different excuses why he could not do the exhaust system on my car. After he said to bring it down. I was calling to confirm the time and Steve gave another excuse why he could not do it on the day he said. This was a 2 week ordeal to get a time to take the car there. I do not know what the issue is with them but I was very pacient and did not appreciate being cused at on the phone when I was very polite. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND NOT USING THEM !!!!!
