THE WORST OF THE WORSE.
THE COMPANY DID NOT ACCEPT RETURNED ITEMS SENT TO THEIR P.O. BOX, THIS GUY DID NOT WANT TO PROVIDE RMA #, SO I SENT THE ITEMS BACK ANYWAY. I CONTACTED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THEY AGREED I DID THE RIGHT THING AND CREDITED ME FOR THE CHARGE. T H A N K S M O T T' S F O R T H E S E F R E E I T E M S !!!
THE FUNNIEST PART IS WHEN I CALLED THE POSTAL SERVICE IN PLACENTIA, CA. THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE, KNEW EXACTLY WHO I WAS TALKING ABOUT WHEN I MENTIONED I SENT A PACKAGE TO THE P.O. BOX # 693. THEY WERE VERY NICE AN APOLOGIZED FOR NOT DELIVERING AND RETURNING MY SHIPPING. SHE ALSO MENTION THE OFFICE SUPERVISOR TALKED TO THIS SUBJECT REGARDING THE REFUSAL OF ACCEPTANCE OF TONS OF ITEMS RETURNED TO HIM. I COULD TELL FOR THE PERSON'S TONE OF VOICE THAT THEY ARE TIRED OF THIS OBNOXIOUS AND ODIOUS GUY.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Agree totally with the reviews here which mention the snarky, passive-aggressive, bizarre and creepy service at Mott's Miniatures online. If you object to anything at all about your transaction with Mott's Miniatures (or even have a normal question about, say, quality or schedule), expect long, torturous, inappropriate emails in response, rife with "legal" language from this weirdo who is convinced he is a whiz re: all things law and possibly a member of the Federal Trade Commission. But no solutions, not ever. He routinely sends incorrect or substitute merchandise, then spends loads of energy arguing about his "policies" that you "agree to" when you purchase from him. The net of these policies is this: He'll send you whatever the f*&# he wants to (with enormous shipping and "handling" costs -- I truly DO NOT want to picture the handling), and if you complain, you are responsible for sending him a bunch of information he already has (tracking number, item number, etc.). If he approves of the way in which you send the information (this can go on for weeks), he will then let you know that you will not be able to return or exchange what he's sent you because.... See above. You get the picture. The only reason this loser is still in business is first-time customers and customers he hasn't screwed over yet. Believe me, if you order from him and then receive the wrong thing (highly likely), you will never see your money again. You WILL give up -- He is that relentless and unsavory. Go elsewhere if you'd like a) to receive what you order and b) to have recourse and be treated with respect if you don't.
This is worst customer service I experienced ever!!! They don't like to give information or status on your order. They are sarcastic, ironic and make you feel like an idiot for asking questions. One of their eternal answers is:
"tht information is part of the terms of the sales contract posted on the web site that all customers have read, understood and agreed to before using the web site or placing any order and that you read, understood and agredd to again during the check out process."
I have been sending and receiving a series of emails questioning on the status of my order and questioning their policies and procedures; I know this probably doesn't make any sense, but I just want to know how far gets this company mistreating a customer and making him feel that is not way that they are going to lose the argue.
Thieves! They take advantage of the consumer.
I wish i had read all the negative comments out there with regards to this store.
- They are Unethical
- Terrible customer service
- They rely heavily on their sales policies because that's the only way they think they can protect themselves.
- Their web page lacks clear information.
- They don't care about the consumer and apparently they don't care about doing business.
- This is a SCAM.
- DON'T buy from these people.
I'm filling a complain with the FTC. This business should NOT be in business AT ALL! anyone who wants to join let me know...
Worst customer service, order unfulfilled.
I wish I could give 0 stars to this company. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced, online or in person.
I ordered a doll for my kids WEEKS ago, and asked about the order several times when we didn't receive it. I have been repeatedly scolded, always reminded that my emails are "improper" since I didn't read the online contract.
The prices here are not cheaper than other online stores, and you are in for a big headache if you do business here, so . . .
Don't order from this place!. Worst experience ever!!! They state that staircases fit a 1" scale dollhouse, but when you get it it does not fit! Then, they do not want to refund your money! Run, don't walk from this website!!! Horrible!!!!
